On paper, he's an oh my god no character, but I ended up really liking him. He was good on Voyager too.

I think it was because she felt very real. She's the kind of slightly quirky relative that can be found in many families. She may push some buttons sometimes, or she may wear you down, but you can never bring yourself to truly hate her. Lwaxana being a bad character is just a stale meme, nothing more.

Gene Roddenberry, the great penis of the galaxy, married her. She must have been a demon in the sack. Not that he probably didn't cheat on her, as well. She was a great actress, and the way her Lwaxana tended to cause more disruption to the Enterprise than Q made her a very special guest star indeed.

Pretty much, she poked fun a lot with the silly seriousness of Trek at times. Wesley is a truly bad character. Nog is a bad character. Nelix is an awful character although his actor was pretty good.
