Trekanons, tell me about your merch collections. I'd like to start collecting some trek related plastic, but nothings grabbed me yet.

73bd78 No.432

I don't really have any. I used to have some of the figures, but I don't know if I still own any of them. If I do, they're in storage. I have a brother who has all of TNG and DS9 on DVD, plus the TOS movies.

I've got this bad boy. If I can ever convince my buddies to play BrickWars, I'm going to fuck them up from orbit.

It's BrikWars, not LegoWars. Much like a (((Hollywood))) child-rape party, anything goes.

The ship looks boss, but you got screwed on the figures.

Absolutely, but what you forget is that I can, without a trace of guilt or autism-activation, crew that noble ship of the line with my favorite proper minifigs.

>Captain America as the captain

>First officer is that Robot/Power Rangers thing

>Chief of Engineering is Groundskeeper Willie

>Communications officer is pink Batman

>Redshirts are various minifigs dressed like corn, bananas, and hot dogs

It will be a glorious war.

I'm not up on my Lego sizes, are they the same size as minimates?

cb839f No.659

>>651

Minifigs are 4 bricks tall, or roughly 4 cm/1-1/2 inches.

Ooo! I could crew the entire ship with Batmen. That would hurt the other team in their no-no places.

Rats. That would make the minimates slightly too tall to fit.

cb839f No.678

>>664

What's the deal with those things, anyway? Do they fit into some sort of blocks setup like Lego, or are they just supposed to be stylized collectibles like those bobbleheads with the big heads and creepy, soulless eyes?

a64710 No.682

>>678

Just collectibles. They were basically a takeoff on Kubricks 15 or so years ago and got big making comic figures. Now you can get them for loads of stuff, like Funco pops, but being smaller they're easier to hide when you have people over.

Just a FYI, Mega Construct is producing licensed mini figs featuring Picard & a Borg figure. They're available at most Wal-Marts now for $5 each.

There's also a Xenomorph and He-Man in this first wave for some wacky cross dimensional hijinks.

>>All colours are Fed ships

>What's the fucking point?

The point is I suspect that it would have cost too much to do individual races' ships. Plus the special crewman cards are all TOS crew.

bf3703 No.4943

all I really own is reading material.

some a tech manual from the 90s, the encyclopedia from a little while before voyager's launch (VERY well thumbed thru), any novels I didn't throw away including a hard cover novelization of all good things.

hm, do the cd roms of elite force 1 and 2 count as merch?

I also had an ancient low budget episode guide based on some unfinished versions of early TNG scripts.

When did Mega get the license to do Trek stuff? I've been pretty happy with their Halo and Destiny-based kits; I'd be remiss to not pick up a couple of their Trek offerings. I appreciate that they keep snapping up the good shit that Lego passes over.

Apparently this pack is such a clusterfuck because they released 3 previously super rare figures as commons. The third one is supposed to be Barkley. Also, nice filename.

Do you guys think it'll be worth anything since Yelchin's gone tits-up?

Probably only if it was signed. I've heard these figures didn't sell and even ended up in pound shops in britbongistan, so I'd guess they're not worth much.
