I'm finally watching Star Trek. It is on netflix. I used to watch it on tv, but now I can actually binge it. So far, on episode 10. Most everything I've seen in this show I disagree with.
For example, with the ESP episode. Captian Kirk restrains the crewman simply because he is sitting up. The crewman says he'd be fine with leaving, but wishes to pick the planet he is marooned on. It is not until the (now godlike) crewman fears for his own safety that he begins to attack Kirk, a true lesser.
In another episode we have Kirk fail to realize that Charlie, a teenager with psychic powers, is doing things to the ship. He realizes this too late and instead of attempting to help him he becomes fearful of him. He tries to detain him, and this simply scares an individual that doesn't know any better. he doesn't even talk to him anymore.
Why do you like this? Also, help me understand the episode I just watched. They find an exact copy of Earth. This has nothing to do with the rest of the episode where they find children whom are 300 years ol thanks to viruses. They make a cure, and they only give it to a small city. What aout the rest of the planet? Why is it an exact copy of 1960's earth? Why does the episode make these questions?
