The Klingons never really got much love in the show. There's a lot of potential in exploring how a warrior culture built up the scientific, logistical, and economic base needed to become an interstellar empire it's old to point it out, but the way they're portrayed in most of ST it's a wonder they ever reached the industrial age, let alone warp power. It's a shame that the writers etc just wanted a 'barbaric' species to sneer at.

There's a difference between confirmation and speculation.
When a woman with a history of many sexual partners flirts with a guy, and gets called a slut for doing so, it is no great leap of logic to assume she intended to fuck the guy. If the writer says she would it is only confirmed something already suspected. Even if the writer had never said anything at all, there's little doubt as to what she was doing.
