The impact of lost information that cannot be recovered is beyond imagining. While there is a small chance of recovery, it probably isn't going to happen. Not because recovery isn't an option, but because it's not a desire. Draw from that what you will. This thread is for general discussion about what really came from QR2 across its lifespan.
[Part 1]
5 days after Q first appeared on 4Chan, I followed a reference from a video created by an absolute jerk so I won’t give that person kudos (no, it wasn’t anybody frequently discussed or well known). At the time I had never even heard of 4Chan, where Q was posting at the time. It took some serious digging to figure out that the site was 4Chan. I eventually found my way to /pol/ where it all started.
As time drug on, I got pulled hopelessly into the Q movement. I immediately realized that the Q maps being created were all over the place; hopelessly chaotic. So I began using my assembly language programming forte to programmatically create standardized display formats for all messages. All messages from Q were pulled into a database, delimited by all relevant fields so I could sort by any given criteria. I had offline archives of every message, every image, through late February of 2018.
To make a long story short, as Q cycled through board after board that was run by starstruck idiots who thought they would get rich off the Q movement, I followed right along, until Q ended up in /qresearch/. I was regularly posting large JPG images of the collection of all Q messages. It got me about 1300 followers on Twitter; certainly an embarrassing number if you’re a celebrity but for a nobody like me, it was more than I ever would have gotten without doing those graphics.
Then there was the night when Q came on and declared that a top 10 bad actor was online and active at that moment. I immediately started searching ID’s in /qresearch/ looking for anybody who had posted their first post in that thread within 3 or 4 minutes of Q’s announcement. There was only one. I had interacted with that person through one message, where that person mentioned Moon Pies and RC Cola. RC Cola is a secondary brand; widely distributed nationwide but to my knowledge it only ever became a top seller in the Chicago area. That would be Obama.

[Part 2]
Backing up a little, there was a message from Q just after migrating to /qresearch/ (or maybe it was another board?) where the message contained the line “we didn’t like what we saw.” That line, specifically that line, somehow put me into an altered state. It wasn’t the wording. It was an unexplained energy emanating from that specific line that screamed this was a female, and something about her was extremely different and extremely powerful. It could have just been my own reaction, but still, there was no explaining it.
Early on Q mentioned that all the regulars would be given a “scary but safe” message at some point. Mine came in the form of a direct message on Twitter. Somebody I didn’t know from Adam came on and began with “You are doing well.” And there it was … that same bullet-between-the-eyes-OMFG energy radiating off the screen. I didn’t know any more than that. I only knew what I was experiencing. It made no sense and I had no explanation from it; I could draw no conclusions from it. Zero. Who was it, why did it feel that way, I had no clue. I only knew that particular energy was very, very feminine in its nature.
That same energy came through when a single posting replied to me, the night the image was posted showing the burned hole in the top of the Deepwater Horizon. I never felt it again from any posting.
Fast forward to the night of the top ten bad actor. That same depth of knowing, even if it wasn’t the OMFG energy involved, screamed it was Obama. RC Cola? So I posted that it was Obama.
I was immediately banned. For the second time.

[Part 3]
This time I didn’t fight it. I started my own board instead. A lot of other banned individuals showed up on that board, and we figured out together that the ones banned were the ones becoming too much of a driving force in /qresearch/. We all had the same issue: how could we possibly be banned when we were driving most of the traffic in there, in one way or another? By comparing notes we figured out that this was precisely why we WERE banned. So clearly, a whole lot of fuckery and deceit was involved in running /qresearch/. We had no idea about any details; we only knew that something was very, very wrong there.
I copied all the bread fluff from /qresearch/ to my own board, figuring it would help people to take it more seriously and feel at home there. It paid off; the board persisted until 8Chan died.
The very first post was by an anon who I immediately recognized from /qresearch/ … it was some wacko who posted cryptic pictures and cryptic text and kept getting banned because they were so weird. I decided to let them post and see where it led; did they really have a coherent message?
Did they ever. Hundreds of images and posts followed revealing intel and info that will not be found anywhere else on the web. Especially the images -- many original; no record of them anywhere on the web. Pictures of Queen Elizabeth calmly perusing thousands of bars of gold in the basement of the WTC. Stolen from Libya. Images of the Gelatin/B-Thing (“Israeli artists”) rigging of detonation charges in the WTC days before it came down. Pictures of the “preacher” who was in the news awhile back, having been “rescued” by Trump – he was in full military uniform in these pictures. He was hardly a religious zealot. Story after story like this came out and we were soon drowning in info that we never did finish decrypting fully.
None of it showed up anywhere else on the web.
Then they revealed who they were, months into our interaction….

[Part 4]
We called them “Ed Anon.” Their ID the first time they posted was ed734a or something like that. It started with ed. Which is a hexadecimal value. So we called them Ed. They refused to create a trip code; they didn’t want the notoriety.
Ed Anon was/is Cicada 3301.
For all that interaction, we got a very good glimpse -- and I say “glimpse” because I have no idea how much MORE info they know about that we have no clue about – of the depth of what they know. Any personal stuff regarding them stays personal. What mattered was the information they had.
On 12/1/19 I emailed Codemonkey to see if there was any chance of recovering the QR2 board from 8Chan. They recovered /qresearch/ so it was worth a shot. The images and threads in that board will truly be a major loss if they’re not recovered because when they’re gone, they’re gone forever.
I will probably never hear back because nobody hears back if they’re not Q but at least I made the effort.
The problem for what’s going on here is that Ed declared flat out that Q was a bad actor, not necessarily bullshit but a product of the Israeli puppet masters pulling Trump’s strings.
Many photos have emerged since then showing POTUS doing the same hand signs that Merkel and so many others do obsessively. Suspicion is high, at least in places, about incestuous relations with Ivanka. And nobody can argue that there has not been even 1 major arrest, nor will there ever be. In this realm, so much bullshit flies so often that you don’t know who to believe.
And that’s where it was all left: no idea who to believe.
If a miracle happens and the /qresearch2gen/ board is restored, all that info will immediately be archived offline. I have an app to do it -- my own. But the odds of that happening are very low, so all I will have are stories from memory.

If you were BO, send a request to restore the board. CM will get to it when he can:

All text is in the 8chan databases. Until then, have you tried archive.fo ? Images may already be lost depending on the volume from the board.
You might also try qresear.ch, they appear to have all posts saved as well.

Input greatly appreciated. CM has been emailed with the shared secret. I didn't realize there was a standard procedure for this. It would have been much simpler for CM had I known rather than sending that first email to him. Oh well, I sent a second and just followed the instructions. As you said, he'll get to it when he can. He could have a year's worth of restore requests piled up right now.
It's nice to know there are so many options, but really none have panned out in this case. Archive.fo had no results; wayback had text but no images.
Research to confirm or deny: wise advice. It's safest to assume nothing about what I experienced because nothing can be verified. It was odd, to say the least. Later I was able to re-establish contact with the Twitter account that contacted me. Dude said he was on a fishing boat for many years where sleep was almost non-existent and he had to learn to go into deep meditative states. He said it was during one of those states that I was contacted and he had no conscious memory of it.
Anyway you're absolutely right - assuming any hard facts based on this kind of thing is treading on dangerous ground. Very easy to get one's head all messed up doing that so I just leave it a blank slate. It's a Sgt. Schultz thing: I know nussing! Then it's just something that happened and that is that; no conclusions are drawn from it.
QR2 was a dead board. Ed had moved on to their crypto currency endeavors and they seem to have given us everything they were going to already so there really wasn't anything happening there. The board had a shelf life and it expired. Mainly I just want the archive stuff.

[Part 1 of 2]
The following is copied from a Facebook post I made to a long-time FB friend and Q supporter.
I'm returning to this movement primarily to get the supporting app done and through it establish some kind of income via Patreon. Pay it forward; the app gets done first, is never charged for, and goes out to everybody whether they donate or not. Some very interesting things have occurred since drowning in the movement for 4 months, then spending 18 months on the periphery of it, then being out of the loop for 6 more months.
8Chan died, then came back as 8kun; was down again, and is now thriving. The old /qresearch/ board was fully restored and is now back in action at full speed, if not a little bit lighter in traffic at times. The Twitter Q following has broken up into dozens of hashtags, up from about 3 mainstays in the beginning.
I've had to open a new Twitter account in the name of the app so I'm starting at ground 0. I now have 15 followers across 3 days - 0 the first day, 2 the second, 13 yesterday so momentum is building. I never solicit followers directly. I post; they follow if they feel so inclined. The web site is still very much under construction (people have no idea how difficult it is to code those things so that everything moves and sizes to display correctly on everything from a 3840 x 2160 desktop to a 320 x 568 iPhone SE. Many, many frustrating hours to work all that out. )
I have put in the thousands of hours required to reach the point where I can do my own graphics, my own HTML coding, code the app in ASM, handle all the nuances of registering the domain name and setting up hosting, setting up FTP access, and write my own content for the site.
This is the first time all that is paying off.
But most importantly, I am having the time of my life. I told [Name] last night that I have not been this happy in a decade. A totally new perspective on life has emerged from it all.
The picture I've painted - which seems to be close to correct as of today - is that every last experience we ever has changes us, even being bored 2 days in a row. Everything accumulates and feeds in. Our higher self processes all this input and remains about 10 steps ahead of our conscious mind in determining what would really make us happy? Without all these experiences we're having, I think it truly doesn't know; the information just isn't there. But we're providing the input to build that picture. So everything we experience accumulates and the higher self is way ahead of us in the process of building a coherent picture using all the little details of what we truly want, don't want, like, don't like, and so forth. To the best of its ability it paints a frighteningly complete and coherent picture of what would make us the happiest - and, consequently, who we really are.
Consciously we are way behind in seeing that picture and so much of what we live through makes no sense to us. But every time we feel like we're stuck in a rut, in a crisis, hurting, angry, etc., all of that shines a light on its opposite. If we're hurt because we're alone, then we like companionship. But things are processed to a much finer level of detail than broad generalities.

[Part 2 of 2]
I have amassed a lot of convincing evidence that says Q is real but maybe not so well intentioned. But nothing is ever conclusive. And far more important than that is the fact that without any defined result, I am invigorated and charged with electricity to incomprehensible levels just by immersing myself in this movement. It's very similar to how I used to go to the mall around Christmas time just to sit around and soak up the energy of large numbers of people acting on a positive purpose. And that is exactly what's going on here, within this movement. It is truly a case where the journey is far more important than the result. The journey is far more impactful than the result could ever be.
[Name] and I talked very often about how you never really know how you're going to react to something until you experience it, leave for a time, then come back. Until now, I'd only ever known that process to lead to disappointment. Grow up in a town, leave, come back years later, it's nothing like what it used to be. Bummer. But here, I was in it for a time, left, and came back - and it's exactly the same as I remember it but the impact on me is dramatically different. Powerful stuff.
So I'm probably about 60% to 70% expecting NOT the rosy outcome everybody thinks from all this, but today, I don't care. I am so charged up by this movement that I am on cloud 9 every minute. Everything I touch turns to gold. The web site setup: a few hours, done, everything I wanted it to be. Coding the web pages: far more involved and difficult but still moving at light speed. I'm re-establishing myself as an indirectly driving presence on Twitter, in qresearch just as a “presence,” (no one person is really much more important than any other in there) and I even reconnected with Cicada 3301 who was THE main force behind the 8Chan board I had. I posted a single thread about them 2 nights ago and they returned to comment on that thread. A very unexpected but happy experience. They haven't been back again, and I'm expecting they won't be; they're going in their direction and I'm going in mine and they were always a far more potent force than me out in the world anyway.
So to me, it's all the result of living an outrageously intense life and in the process identifying so many fine details of what really makes me happy that it seems that about now, I'm finally making that big turn to put it all together and really build a meaningful life around it. So whether Q is a bad guy or a good guy, ultimately, it cannot impact what I'm living through right now. I'm truly having the time of my life and then some.
Everybody should go through this. It's kind of rad, dude!

Nobody who judges work in ASM actually does work in ASM on any appreciable scale and has not since the mid-1980's.
What's more desirable if the cost is exactly the same: a Ford Focus with stock, off-the-shelf parts and it's in the shop every other month (despite the denials of everybody), or a NASCAR monster (again, for the same price) with 100% hand crafted parts, has 1% the size and weight and is up to 50x faster?
Control. Everything is about control. Speed and memory usage are side benefits. I can instantly bypass any Windows function misbehaving and code it myself, which I do often because things are so layered in bullshit and bureaucracy; laziness and ineptitude, nobody knows how they work, nobody want to know, and development is only slightly slower in ASM than in any other language because other languages have outrageous compile times (vs. 1-2 seconds for me), drastically slower run times (no matter how well they're coded), and are enormous memory hogs.
Again, nobody making these declarations KNOWS. They all go by what they've been taught to believe by professors and their peers.

Much of the time frame I referred to has been about collecting knowledge on all the fronts listed. ASM is only a small part of the whole picture. Most people do not have the option of doing a pro-level web site with pro-level graphics, including coding the HTML and scripts, setting up the web hosting (which takes only minutes but it's about being able to know a good deal from a bad one), and writing all their own web content at arguably a pro level as well. Blender has been 5 years and thousands of hours by itself but now there's nothing I cannot create graphically; I just have to decide how much time I want to put into a project. It's nice to be able to create what I'm creating for $0 across the board.

>What's more desirable if the cost is exactly the same
That's the thing though, the cost isn't anywhere close to the same, at least in my estimation for my own work.
>nobody making these declarations KNOWS. They all go by what they've been taught to believe by professors and their peers.
I'm not an expert in assembly programming. I've tried it though, and I found it pretty difficult. I didn't stick with it for long enough that it "clicked" for me, and the cost/benefit ratio wasn't worth it to me. These things are individual of course.
I can work in C but I prefer not to if there is enough memory available. Strings and structured arrays are very useful abstractions for getting work done. Same with HTTP requests and responses, where the server software or a library handles converting the headers back and forth from structured objects and text for you.
>nobody knows how they work, nobody want to know,
This isn't true for me personally either. If I see something that is misbehaving or doing way more than it needs to be doing (it happens a lot), it's getting ripped out and replaced with something simpler.
I might be writing code that runs in 10ms instead of 1ms, but it takes me 1/10th the time to write. If something starts taking 10 seconds to run when it could easily be done in 1, then it's probably time to take a deeper look.
>Ed never pushed me away from ASM.
Just out of curiosity did the idea for developing an archive program come from Ed? I've seen several archive programs come and go before.
>Blender has been 5 years and thousands of hours by itself but now there's nothing I cannot create graphically
Now that is a skill set that I definitely don't have. I'm generally fine with more functional, simple designs for my stuff, or with letting others work on the graphics.

You would have to have worked extensively on full-scale apps in both languages to be able to make a valid comparison.
>I've tried it though, and I found it pretty difficult.
It can be, especially now because it's a linear language in an age of OOP. Beyond that, I think that today, learning C++ if you're not familiar with anything similar is equally difficult. It's quite an expansive language, and is in the spiral of eternally growing complexity in the name of making things faster and easier. Basic Win32 programming in C++ is not that difficult but when you start getting into all the cross-platform stuff, it becomes VERY difficult. 99% of what you code will work fine but that 1% where tab A doesn't align with slot B will eat up 99% of your time. The ONLY places I get hung up are when Windows functions don't work.
>I might be writing code that runs in 10ms instead of 1ms, but it takes me 1/10th the time to write
That's the entire disparity in a nutshell: drastically differing values. And IMHO it is nobody's place to pass judgment on what another values. If an approach works for you, then it works and there's little to argue over. Of course when it comes to murder, etc., then that can all become too much of a gray area to even dive into. But for coding … it's really all about what somebody wants out of something vs. what they're willing to put into it. I'm obsessive about the quality of my work. For me personally, the quality drop in moving to any HLL vs. my personal standards is simply intolerable. Few others share that viewpoint but that's where I'm at on it. Obviously the world is running on what others put out and not on what I put out so I entertain myself with no delusions of being much more important than that.
The idea of an archive program was a kind of osmosis, largely from Q's early messages which addressed the subject more than once, then 8Chan went down and I was lamenting all the Ed postings and images lost. I have my own personal way of designing and implementing things; it's a very detail-oriented effort at usability and not "oh hurry up and get it out the door, who cares how shitty it is for the user."
Blender: again, you have to love doing it. I still watch tutorial videos incessantly and I never stop learning something new. I will never classify myself as "expert." I can get the end product out but rarely without the help of one or more instructional videos.

Agreed anon (also agreed, as long as your "values" don't include infringing the liberties of others).
Let us know if you get qresearch2gen back up and running, I will archive it if nothing else.

Thank you much. I will do the same since I have a web site to archive it to; I will also keep my own offline copies of everything.
I just have to get an email off to CM and so far that has not been doable. They keep getting kicked back as not deliverable when sent to admin@8kun.top.

If this was known to be planned back in February why was it allowed to simply move forward? If the stories are not bullshit, kids died for nothing. What does that say about those who could have stopped it and did not?

Email to admin@8kun.top continues to be kicked back as undeliverable. Still trying.

Perhaps the most dangerous thing in life is our arrogant presumption that we understand far more than we do. Truth is never found that way; only buried in misconceptions.

I reposted (on Twitter) one of the few images from Ed that I have stored locally: "Pastor Brunson" holding a bar of gold while in a Marine uniform.
The image was shadow banned.

One of the many stories circulating on the web was that the original Q was Cicada and was then hijacked by <whoever.> Unless QR2 is restored I can't pick up the date when Cicada took a turn and went against Q as a psyop.

Since I mentioned QR2 was driven by Cicada, I suspect it will not be migrated. What does that tell us? Those running 8kun resist Cicada.

No response, no board. Resistance is at maximum. This will not change.

The Pied Piper of Hamlin entrances his targets, leads them into the forest, then fades away leaving the targets lost.
What were they distracted from? What would have been their focus if the Pied Piper never appeared?
Patterns. Always patterns.

How to protect Spartacus?
Cicada is this! No, Cicada is that! No, Cicada is something else.
