Austin bombings fuckery.
I couldn't help but notice shortly after bombings, lots of Resistance Twitter accounts immediately started throwing out the bombings being racially motivated, all with similar prose and, most unusually, RIGHT after the bombing. Before the article below:

- March 2nd. Anthony House is killed. His step-father is Freddie Dixon Sr., a prominent Black community organizer in Austin, who is currently Vice President at the Diversity Outreach Center at the University of Texas-Austin.
Interim Police Chief Manley says the bombing was thought to be a response to a drug raid that happened to a house not too far away.
*Because houses that are raided for drugs GET FUCKING BOMBED sometimes, right?*
- March 12th. Draylen Mason is killed. Grand-father is Norman Mason, a prominent Black Austinite and friend of Freddie Dixon Sr. Shortly after, a hispanic woman is critically injured by a third bomb, that police say was addressed to the wrong house.
Dixon says he's upset with how police initially characterized his step-son's bombing. He says his step-son and Mason's grand-son are victims of a hate crime. The hispanic victim, Dixon theorizes, was to throw everyone off the fact this was a hate crime. Dixon and Mason's connection, Dixon theorizes, is supposed to reflect the hater bomber "HAVING DONE HIS HOMEWORK".
John Brennan is both an alumni and a visiting professor at University of Texas-Austin. All three have connections to Healthcorps, a community organizing program for minority children that preaches "character building" and most significantly, organ donation.
When the last two victims of the backpack bombing were revealed to be white I thought maybe some PATRIOTS diffused the narrative that was bubbling to BREW A RACEWAR
