Anyone remember the movie War Games ? Its a movie from the 80s were a kid accidently hacks into a government super computer system and almost starts a nuclear war between the US and Russia . They stop it eventually by telling it they want to play a game of chess .

No, that's wrong. They stop it by repeatedly playing Tic-Tac-Toe to stalemates with no winner, from which the computer then extrapolates the same conclusion to nuclear war.
