I have both showing tweets in EST but while zero marker is on target in trumptwitterarchive. com, in actual twatter this specific tweet is showing an hour ahead.

According to the archive, it should read: 6:15 PM

A few other random checks between trumptwitterarchive. com and twatter show parity.

I don't see an error in my GMT-EST time conversions. And, I don't see any other errors. This is the only one I've found that has this discrepancy.

We ran a program to cross-check all the chan stamps with the twatters.

(1) Re "people … put off", just express the GMT/UTC conversions within the graphic, that should take care of that. (And by the way, that wouldn't be a bad idea to have in *all* marker graphics, past present and future.)

(2) Re "how to … maintain the original pleb archive" (by which name I assume that you're referring to >>1493 ?), with all due respect, I suggest considering *not* (necessarily) doing so …

One possible (alternative/additional) route could be to start a separate (for example "all markers graphics", or "all markers graphics archive") *thread* @ this board, in which to provide each marker graphic in a separate post … because otherwise, as more markers may be found, to have them all in one graphic could become more and more cumbersome.

This would be just one way to get around the potentially ongoing "new graphic" dilemma. Of course someone here may have sufficient patience to maintain both (separate graphics plus, @ each time a new-marker graphic is created, a new all-inclusive graphic), in which case I still suggest keeping all graphics in a newly created thread (i.e. archive), with their post numbers indicated and ongoingly updated in the lead post (sorry, I forget the colloquial name for that mass of material).

Those are excellent ideas, of note is doing the marker graphics separately, otherwise they become too large to see in social. That, and storing in a separate thread and referencing in general.

Seeing new activity re: adding twitter in the qcodefag github repository. I think it would be helpful to have a page for each marker, q and tweet side by side, displaying related news events below, perhaps.

Have been working over in last several general breads on this. There are a few unresolved issues. Two tor users and two text anons have provided more info. Text anons said it was a go. But, some other anons find objections using twatters messed up sticky time zone option tree for UTC user conversions.

BUT, problems with twatter, ttarchive. Here are some questions that remain unanswered. Forgive me if these are stupid questions, but I don't see their resolution and no one has explained yet.

Agreed. it’s precisely because the twatter GUI is both incompetent and unreliable, that I have questions.

The raw data from their site on CSV export, is agreeably 23:15 or 11:15 GMT. Twatter shows the same with GMT-UTC settings.

If the website translates ALL data to EST, then we should expect to see 6:15 PM EST on their website.

But, that time is wrong for the date, which should be in EDT.

One problem is, I think, ttarchive changing all times to EST and not EDT where applicable on their site, for example.

Otherwise, their site would correctly read (23:15 -4) 7:15PM —> EDT.

Which ODDLY, is actually what twatter is showing for the tweet with user settings at EST.

Can any anons explain this?

Big credit to all you anons who were hammering the [zero] posts all day yesterday.

I was so busy with my spiderweb map post that I would almost certainly have missed it had it not been spammed, I didn't really read it until much later in the day when you guys were taking HEAVY shilling flak in response (what made me give pause to it).

I spent some time trying to verify the marker, which led me down a train of thought that ended in this discovery. This has opened several more doors, so I anticipate more findings to follow soon, hopefully.

here's some working thoughts on stuff.

TOR only converts to REAL GMT accurately if site is using UNIX timestamps.

There are no UNIX timestamps on archive4plebs.

There is an 18:15 (GMT-4) timestamp on archive4plebs, because it is EDT.

THE 22:15 TOR conversion is based on EDT.

So the output is RELATIVE EDT/GMT.

But, I'm tired. I think the issue has something to do with relative time though.
