So same day Nunes memo dropped, 2nd Feb, DOJ released an update to the nuclear posture. I'll link below to way back machine.
It's been a month since I've read it… and honestly I need to re-read it, but in a nut shell it states America's weapons have not been maintained, while countries like Russia, North Korea, Iran and China all have fancy new weapons. Again need to reread, but there's stuff like threats from space and weapons that use new principles in physics. It also mentions that America is now willing to use nuclear response for non nuclear threats, and outlays plans to bring US up to speed with it's competition. It could be read, and spun, as a very aggressive action in some sense… and may alarm the public if reported in a certain way…. Personal opinion? It's a direct message to any of America's enemies, real or potential. America's back.
It didn't seem to fit… but it stuck in the back of my mind as something odd, Then on Thursday, when Putin made his State of Nation speech it all made sense. After he unveiled his new weapons, he made a direct comment about the updated nuclear posture. This of course, was translated to me via RT on a Facebook stream… but it's the best I had. Anyway, Putin says despite the US update, he is sticking to only answering nukes for nukes… which all sounds reassuring except for the fact, not all new weaponry are nukes. Now, I'm not saying or suggesting America and Russia are on the brink of war. But there is defiantly some showboating going on from both sides. Honestly, dunno about Putin yet… I say 200% watch the guy, but he would also make a great ally. Digressing. Sorry.
This is the news that's not really being reported… Genuine news between on the current America and Russia relationship, going on right now. Why is it not being reported? It doesn't fit the current narrative CNN has scripted. Why would Trump and Putin be showboating in such a way if their allies? More importantly, why wasn't any of this reported in the news? They showed the weapons, and the dodgy graphic of them hitting Hawaii. We've all seen the scary part… but we've not been shown all the bit's in between.
It's been a great red pill on Twitter.

My gut tells me we're close… but they'll go down fighting.
