Because catholosism is based on the Trinitarian Creed - I've read it and it's just a bunch of old guys writing a bunch of gobbildy gook! But it's what they want people to believe - basically that God is triniarian, i.e. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And they do not beleive in getting born again.

Christianity, true Christianity based on biblical truths, believes what the Bible (the Word of God) actually states about God and His Son Jesus Christ. God is our Heavenly Father, the Creator of all things. God's essance is Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son - as it states in the bible about 200 times. There's no "trinity" as the catholics believe. That word never appears in the bible at all. But let's just ignore the 200 verses that tell us who Jesus Christ is and lets just come up with our own warped theory. (This was by design of course). Christians also believe in the second birth - birth by Holy Spirit, just by believing and confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord (i.e. Romans 10:9&10). If you really want to know what Christianity is all about, you can first read the Epistles, then the rest of the bible. The Epistles are the books Romans through Thesselonians that are actually each addressed to born again believers - they are addressed to the new believer that wants to learn - you, us. They will teach you how to become a Christian (Christ in you), what it means to be a Christian and all the power you will have, and how to renew your mind to the Christ in you. It's all there in black and white! Enjoy!!
