So Standard Hotels were actually started by Andre Balazs in L.A. Initial investors were Leonardo DiCaprio, Benicio del Toro, Cameron Diaz, and two members of the band Smashing Pumpkins.

Also killed in the crash was the regional finance guy for Standard International and the General Manager of the Standard Hollywood. There was a fourth, unnamed person taken to the Orange County hospital. If that person's name has been revealed I don't know about it.
The CEO of Standard International may be alive and well, but the CEO of its parent company died in the crash. This is important because he was connected both to Balazs, who started the hotel, and to the billionaire daughter of the richest man in Europe.

Andre Balazs bought the Thunderbird Hotel and turned it into the Standard Hollywood with money from Benicio Del Toro, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, James Iha, and D'arcy Wretzky (last two were members of the Smashing Pumpkins) in 1999, according to Wikipedia. I posted about this upstream. Haven't been able to find anything connecting Schiff to the Standard or to Teno who died in the helicopter crash.

My interpretation of this is that Hussein put out the RED video on the 27th. Then on the 28th, when Hussein was in Asia, there was a post with a stringer. 27th and 28th are dates and I don't think they are meant as "markers".
