To make Deep Space viable we are going to need rockets with more energy than chemical rockets can provide. We are going to need Fusion Rockets.

Polywell has not been proved. But so far the experiments done don't say it can't work. More effort must be made.Private companies have taken an interest but none has ever closed the deal. A full up test might cost a total of $500 million. The next step will cost $10 to $20 million. BTW the US Navy has funded some of the research. The Big Fusion boys don't like this approach because, if it works, it will put them out of business. There are tens of billions at stake.

Your joking right?

Perhaps, i don't know, a trifecta of spinning electro-magnetic generators that have the capacity to warp the electromagnetic field around it that let (micro)gravity to the work for it?

Maybe use an element we can synthesise from another element that was not "officially" known about until the late 90s early 2000s.

How odd that this particular element also happens to be a main part of a fictional storyline where Nazi scientists used it to travel to the moon in a very popular first person shooterfranchise.

The CIA is laughing at you from September, 1958.

Not on purpose, he's not.

Maybe, with right thinking, honest information, sufficient understanding, and a mature fluency in Mathematics, you will be able to write the sentence.

Then you might be able to move around with just a Word.

Education is a good thing. Polywell is a difficult conception. So far no research has shown a show stopper.

The fuel is Deuterium and Boron 11. Both natural. The US has about 20% of the world's mineable boron and Turkey has almost all the rest. Deuterium is part of the water we drink and in fact all water on the planet. There is no miracle fuel. Boron can be extracted from sea water if necessary.
