Q said that there was a particular prayer uttered daily in the WH. By whom? WHY?
Seven days a week I make supplication that the leaders of the world would be granted wisdom to lead us in accordance with the will of God -- it seems odd that the daily prayer in the WH would be a prayer for the dead.
Christian theology tells us that the dead are remembered by God … so no need to pester God about them. (You could build an entire theology around the thought that this "memory" might be simply a computerized record of their DNA, with "successful" variations recorded and unsuccessful variations destroyed.)
I am of the opinion that for every person who IS wise, there are many who think they are (Dunning Kruger syndrome) and that one reason Donald likes surrounding himself with military men is that these are men whose wisdom has either been tested by fire or has been judged by others who were.
