IMHO the idea of forbidding secret society membership for senior officials should be considered.

In a democracy, the people are sovereign, and the people have a right to know that the actual loyalties of their leaders match the declared loyalties of their leaders. By its very nature, membership in a secret society is incompatible with holding a senior political position, because it is impossible for citizens to know if the official has loyalties that will conflict with their stated positions, and force them to take actions that are at odds with their political incentives as designed into the US Constitution. This dilemma is at the very heart of the current political cold war underway in the US.

Make it illegal. Anyone who wants to run for office has to declare all memberships in any form of organization whatsoever going back to childhood. Moreover, the entire set of obligations from that organization, chapter and verse, must be made public, with absolutely nothing held back. And make the penalties for noncompliance extremely severe, like 20-30 years in federal prison.

I have been a Freemason for close to 20 years and have gone through the Scottish Rite and the York Rite, as far as a person can go. I have never once seen anything to suggest that the Masons have anything to do with any sort of cabal activity. We aren't even a secret society. What other secret society publishes the location, date, and time of all of their regular meetings?

If there are any Masons participating in the atrocities of the cabal, then they are acting in a manner that is totally contradictory to the values and morals we are expected to uphold. Any Mason who does anything to help the cabal os no Brother of mine.

The weird thing is that if you were to sit in on a Lodge meeting, or even a Grand Lodge meeting, you would be bored out of your mind. After the procedure for opening the Lodge, it is basically just like any other business meeting for a club or charitable organization. Even the opening and closing of the Lodge is basically a boring repetition of the same phrases 3 or 4 times as they pass through the officers of the Lodge. Nothing particularly occult, and certainly nothing interesting unless you like someone rattling off a few phrases by rote of morally sound prose about peace and harmony, charity, and brotherly love.

Like everything else, not all created equal. My cousin was a Mason and his lodge were also members of the KKK. He wanted out and they gave him hell. He ended up with a very rare brain cancer and died quickly. I believe some of the Lodges are much worse than others. I'm not saying they killed him, but he did die quickly after leaving.
