Wtf? Where did this rumor come from? If this is true then G5 will be amazing. He was the great filter who strained all the shit that the writers kept trying to pen to paper. Make him story editor and I'll be there for every episode of G5.

They will, and there's already been concept art of Luna and Celestia in G5. Pic unrelated but has the same style, Celestia's hair has gradient instead of three colors, and she has more golden outlines while Luna has silvery ones.
