Good. No better time to bail on the show than when they gave the main character the end of her perceived development so early on. Something like that should have been saved for a movie or series finale, but whatever.
I stopped watching regularly after S3 as well. I recently watched a current season episode as it aired, and had literally no idea who anyone was outside of Spike and Discord. For some reason the introductory villain from like S5 or whatever is now the Twilight surrogate (because they must have realized they blew their load way too goddamn early, and we STILL have to teach friendship lessons but we can't do that with Twilight having ascended godhood and whatnot). Then I see that they replaced the Mane 6 with a bunch of diversity characters.
Just what the fuck happened to this show? What happened to it being about six ponies going on misadventures together, and why the fuck should I care about this new cast? It had some small moments, I guess, but nothing will ever be like it was with S1 and S2. I've been on this ride for way too long, that I got to be around for the very best of it so close to the beginning is fine with me. At least I was there for the best parts of both the show and the fandom, when I felt like I belonged somewhere.

Was probably somewhat okay after all the bullshit in the early years happened, then I was around for the big merge between MLPchan and Ponychan and realized a little too late what a friend of mine had told me was true: mixing two completely separate communities destroyed both. Both MLPchan and Ponychan should have stayed separate, but I was too busy helping with the merge and didn't realize until it was too late that anonthony and Ponychan's admin at the time (can't even recall the faggot's name) were butt buddies and he let anonthony basically have free reign over the entire site.
At this point I stay around here, I stay around BronyState, and I even stick my head in ponyville's board from time to time, at least to remind me of when the fandom wasn't so fucking shit.
