you literally receive fucking nothing. zero. there are no papers of intellectual property transfer that you receive. they don't edit the character, you get fucking a jpg that you could already see and download beforehand. it's not even commissions, it's a premade image. you're not buying jack fucking shit, you're spending 20 bucks to get some guy to message you saying 'hurray you own this' when in fact legally it's still their fucking property anyways
