I would see all the good bands live. I would see Star Wars and Ghostbusters movies in theaters and actually not be disappointed. I would watch Wayne Gretzky play hockey and Michael Jordan play basketball. Sure, I already did those things, but it would be fun to do again.

Trust me, none of us who went through the 80ies would ever want to go back there. It was a dark age who's only ray of sunshine was the movies hollywood produced.
The fashion was nighmarish, the music was awful and everyone was obsessed with nothing but superficial glitz and glam.
Those where some dark years fam, if you didn't have to suffer through them, then trust me, you don't want to go there.

Speak for yourself, faggot. I liked imagining that I would be better off than my boomer parents, that I would own my own home, and that I would retire some day. Fashions sucked ass, though.

Most 80s music was awful apart from the New Wave of British Metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden), Bay Area Thrash (Slayer, Megadeth), the classic bands growing up (Black Sabbath, Motörhead), the second wave of punk (Bad Religion, Black Flag), and the emergence of Seattle sub-pop (Alice in Chains, Soundgarden). Actually, that is a hell of a lot more than most musical eras have going for them now that I think about it.

Queen did their best stuff in the seventies, although they were not bad in the eighties. The Beatles broke up way the hell before the eighties. Jett was good.

What's so good about the 80s? They sucked, and so did the 70s and 60s. The music was good though. Why not go back to the 50s, a time before hippies and PC culture became mainstream?
A time when it was okay to be a white male? A time when you didn't have to give up your rights to negroids and mestizoids? Better yet, the 20s. When the biggest sluts and whores were still dressed modestly by modern standards.

Everytime I see a millennial post "HURR I WISH I WAS BORN IN THE 80S" in some Youtube 80s music video I want to rip his fucking face off.
You faggots wouldn't survive in the 80s. You have ZERO FUCKING CONCEPT of life without the internet or phones. You have zero patience to read a fucking book or even get past your fucking autism to start small talk with a random stranger while waiting in line because you can't look up from your fucking mobile.
You couldn't handle the lack of political correctness or morality.

Can't comment on the eighties, (born in 86) but the 90's sucked for me, after 92, which was probably the really end of the '80's.
Really never understood 90's nostalgia.

With the nineties, it really depends on where you were. If you were on the West Coast of the United States then it was completely tits. Music was in a renaissance, and style was ultra-casual. If you were on the East Coast then it went straight from shitty 80s fashions and music to godawful screamo and gangsta bullshit.
One thing about the nineties that kicked ass all around was entertainment. TV was the best it has ever been. Big-budget movies were actually good. The internet was the Wild West. Video games were brilliant. Shit was tight.
