So am I the only one not seeing a problem here? Pinkie offers help, the yaks don't want any. Leave them to their disaster recovery and roll the credits. Keeping with the cautious optimism of other episodes that had really bad/vague synopses but this seems like an incredibly thin premise. Filler episode: Yay or Neigh?

Pinkie episodes usually turn out well, and winter sports with yaks has the potential to be entertaining. In fact, the premise sounds so fun that it worries me.

This was actually a great episode. And Pinkie Pie wasn't an intolerable cunt!

Once again, they pulled a good story out of a shitty cliche, this one being the classic 'wont ask for help' story. Made tolerable by using it to expand on the Yaks rather than having a main character hold the idiot ball for the episode.

They thankfully traded in jokes for actual story which made things far better for the episodes run.

I don't get it, they're flirting with putting out a trash episode with pretty much EVERY episode they've had this season but they've yet to fuck it up. This shouldn't be as impressive as it is. It's the show production equivalent of a spinning plates act.

So far, apart from the abomination-sitting episode, this season has been surprisingly good!

Pinkie was cute again instead of insufferable or grating, and I liked how the Yaks weren't forced to outright ask for help.

Well, here we go. Last "official" episode before the mid-season break.

However….

It seems as though Boomerang on Australian Pay TV are airing episodes 12 (Discordant Harmony) and 13 (The Perfect Pear) on June 20 and 21, respectively. No word if there are going to be any streams come broadcast time but there should be a thread up at the end of the week to catch any episode discussion.

Pinkie Pie was unusually likable and not an obnoxious spaz like she was in "Rock Solid Friendship." It was a refreshing change. When was the previous time that she was an actual character and not a candy-and-cocaine caricature? Maybe "Spice Up Your Life?"

I enjoyed it quite a bit, definitely added to "episodes that made me actually like Pinkie."

The problem with the episode is that the yaks never really learned to swallow their pride and ask for help. Sure it is pretty explicit that they accept help, but simply accepting it and not being active in seeking it out isn't really the best.

The god damned fucking canadians and their streaming. This has fucked us 2 seasons so far. I think that is the real problem. We can't get everyone to stay and watch an episode because the episode has already been shown or leaked. I remember when we had people shitposting during the air of an ep. I remember Webm Anon. This whole fucked up airing time has killed us all… and it sucks
