I've got a 100% true story for you, but you're free to disbelieve it if you so choose.
Early November 1997, my wife and I saw a UFO very close. We were close enough to make out the surface of the object.
It was hovering slowly over some trees across our street, and when we saw it we ran outside, and the object slowly moved over the street, directly over our heads…
The sun had just broken, and the sky was illuminated enough for me to visually examine the base of the craft.
There were no panels or ports or rivets or vents… And even more importantly… It had no lights'
It had none of the telltale signatures of human manufacture. No bells and whistles that would give it away as a military craft. Absolutely nothing to indicate human origin.
It appeared to be one solid surface, with no variations, no ports, no windows no exhaust vents.
Instead of 'lights' as we know them, this object hadthree spiral shapesof glowing illuminated plasma gas, like one might see 'snaking' in an old neon sign…

These three points of illumination were evenly spaced at the base of this circular object, and that's how My wife and I could tell the object was slowly rotating.
Each of these illuminated spirals seemed to be undulating inside of themselves… However, All three of them were slowly spinning counterclockwise, which is how we could tell the craft was slowly spinning…
The following afternoon I went out and determined the height of the craft, based on the height of the trees across the street from our house.
I'm guessing the object was approximately 50 ft in the air, because the trees are about 40 ft tall
As it slowly hovered across the street over our heads, we both noticed it wasn't making any noise at all.
There was no electrical hum or 'corona discharge'… Totally silent…
And here comes the part that most people find hard to believe (which is why she and I rarely tell anybody about this story, because they won't believe it anyway, and it doesn't matter)
Suddenly, the entire base of the craft started to glow pink. Before we knew it, the entire object seem to be enveloped in an illuminated pink fog…
Kind of like a pink cloud suddenly formed around the craft.
And as that illuminated pink cloud faded,THE OBJECT LITERALLY FADED AWAY!!!… IT LITERALLY VANISHED!!
I swear on my mother's ashes that's a true story
We didn't see any little green men
Nobody got abducted
There were no anal probes
None of that hype…
But we definitely saw a UFO
