if you download the version of this album where every segment is split into individual tracks instead of the four "songs" or "movements" or whatever you really see how much filler there is on this album.
for instance, half of the last "movement" consists of 1-2 minute field recordings with no purpose. actually the same goes for 3 of the 4 "movements" with "Sleep" being the only one on the album with any sense of unity and no filler whatsoever.
why do people fall for this so easily? it's not a bad album by any means, since the moments that aren't chock full of filler can be absolutely beautiful, but it feels manipulative in it's structure.
