Why weren't they more popular? I mean they did get some hit songs that got in some movies and in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, but for the most part, Millencolin's music never got that popular. Especially their shit off of Same Old Tunes, For Monkeys, and Life on a Plate.

They were quite popular 1995-1997 along with other bands like Satanic Surfers and No Fun at All when Swedish skate punk had a hype. Millencolin changed their sound to more rock-street punk and Scandis in general moved on to a more garage oriented sound like Hellacopters, Gluecifer, Turbonegro, Hives.

There is only so much that you can milk out of European NoFX knock offs.

and besides NOFX sucked…I'll take The Butthole Surfers, Discharge, Anti-Cimex, Totalitar, Killdozer, Scratch Acid, Husker Du, Naked Raygun, Big Black, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, No Trend, Minor Threat, Chaos UK, UK Subs, GBH, GG Allin, etc over that shit anyday.
