You know I was thinking the other day that if I were to build a golem/automaton waifu out of the multitude of scrap part motorcycles in my basement, it wouldn't be super difficult to organize: a big V-Twin engine as her front "assets", transmission, stator and battery by the belly, a split gas tank as her rear "assets," various pieces of frame and forks for the limbs and skeleton. Maybe a couple cute aesthetic pieces like exhaust pipes coming out by her shoulderblades, a small headlight between her collarbones and taillight at the base of her spine, bracelets and anklets like bar controls. The brainbox and wiring would be a trip, but we'll just suspend disbelief on how that works.
Gotta have that classic chrome and gloss black paintjob though.

Are they obviously girly, or is it going to be one of those yaoi shits where you can't fucking tell and you start questioning why the fuck they wear highheels when they look and act like boys? Seriously, Bort calls Diamond "Nii-sama", but Dia is extremely girly. Phos only gets worse in that regard, looking more and more like a boy, but still wearing high heels. And then there's Antarc and whatever the black one's called (not Bort). Christ, I like the plot and where it's going, but the designs and the way they speak only gets more and more faggish. The fact that Kongu/Adamantine is so obviously a male only makes the whole thing even worse. But despite that, I highly recommend the show. It is actually very good, and the 3D animation is quite charming at times, and it's very faithful to the manga.
As for wether or not I'll date one, I wouldn't unless I know for sure they have tits and a vagina. So generally no to any character from Houseki no Kuni.

They don't have any lower bits or act sexual. I don't think they even know what sex means. They are straight up living rocks. They do all want Kongu's pseudo-familial love he gives them. I think from the /a/ thread's discussion, the reason they use he when talking is because that's the default pronoun used in pretty much any language before the modern pronoun bullshit and don't know any different. I still say, they are more feminine due to looks plus having voice actresses adds to it.
The manga is pretty good nad I hope there's a second season. I'm expecting more suffering for Phos, being the unstable mass of elements she is now and with the Lunarians potentially lying to her.
