So, I think when you put into the equation the preferences or beliefs of a woman against your own and when their opinion is another validation for you to believe or enjoy such things, is the most likely you are more submissive, mentally. It’s a more subtle way of changing your life around just to appease the woman's needs, but if you were the dominant one, the woman would be the one that needs to do just that, to appease you. Of course, it could be partially mutual in an idealist world, but the balance is never completely equal in reality. This way of thinking glaringly shows itself in the Western world where women can be put in favor of a more capable person, due to being a female who holds the illusion of empowerment which is accepted by the people around them.
The illusion of female empowerment is another topic that I could drone on about but I’ll just say that if illusions are to be believed and accepted they often manifest themselves in reality in destructive and warped ways.
