Not the person you replied to, but I feel like I've noticed this. Noticed some things that make me question charls' intelligence (or at least social or reaction intelligence).
In a stream once, he couldn't recognize the image of the keyboard tab button (the arrows). He kept questioning it, and only when he checked the chat much later did he see that someone was trying to tell him what it was. And he just said, "oh no wonder it looked familiar!" (paraphrasing).
Many times in streams, it will take him several seconds or even minutes to respond to something that has happened in a game or movie, and he questions it as if the nature or very existence of the thing even registered in his mind. "What just happened, what happened, I don't get it - oh, she picked up a book, that's a book" (example).
Strange things. You know how some people respond to their phone's ringing, seemingly a half second before you even register the sound? Charls responds to things on a several second delay, as if it's really a chore to process sensory information.
Not hating on him. Just became frustrated with this delay recently before I figured out what was happening; I don't think it's an act? In my opinion. He's slow at responding to things, difficult to read a room (when he cares about what people around him think, he really tries to "read them" and his lack of ability to do so becomes very obvious - I noticed this in his stream with "doctor not a doctor", I forgot his name).
