the republicans are against journalists telling working class people who are losing their jobs to "learn to code". now journalists are losing their jobs for not even remotely practicing anything in the realm of journalism and people are turning it around on them. Of course they're responding in anger like "I have been writing feminist columns for 10 years and have a phd in romantic comedies I don't want to learn how to code and I shouldn't have to someone should give me a job for my current skills" which is basically all those working class people have been saying
