I don't think Charls is an awful person at all, I just think he's on the wrong track. He has obviously convinced himself that Sam is a 'Toxic' person and has to be avoided at all costs, and he seems to constantly talk about mental/spiritual health shit and like living a certain way or whatever, usually people who do that are basically on the brink of completely falling apart.
I can't speak for everyone but I'm way happier when I'm being productive and making good work that I'm pleased with, I don't think Charls can really be that stoked on the content he's putting out, seems like he's wasting his talent for the sake of saving face.
