"It's just a social experiment, bro."
I don't like pranks against people unless they deserve it, or unless the prank is lighthearted and gives the "victim" a laugh.
For example, I don't like it when people prank people working at fast food restaurants. They have terrible jobs, dealing with annoying, sometimes straight up mentally ill people. I'm always extra nice to servers or anyone in a grueling job as long as they are decent to me.
Innocent pranks where the "victims" get a kick out of it can be fine.
I like this one where this adult guy asks strangers on the street, including black dudes, if they are his father: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwsFblv_P3A
There are a bunch of pranks where people ask college students annoying questions. Some of those are OK because no one is traumatized, and most college students need a little kick I think. I like the weird video Sam made where he dressed as a woman and talked to art students.
I don't mind that some of them left the room in anger, because they need a wake up call. Those kind of pranks are ultimately positive.
The part of the MDE video where they vape in the store manager's face. Sure, the timing of it was perfect (a short pause after the guy says you can't vape in here). It's funny from a comedic timing stand point, but I don't like messing with people who are are just doing their job and not harming anyone. Go prank the CEO of Google, not the manager of a random grocery store just trying to earn a buck for his family.
