Holy shit, how can one company be so based?

>Offer marriage certificates for you and your 2D wife

>Marriage certificates double as a job application

>Gatebox offers corporate benefits to any of their workers in a happy relationship with their waifu

>45$ stipend every month to support your married life with your waifu, you're also permitted to take her birthday off

>Straight up tells haremfags to fuck off, these benefits are only for those loyal to one

I wish we would be so blessed as to have them come overseas.

I just heard about this, pretty amazing stuff.

I do wonder what their intentions are, is it simply to boost their employee's confidence and emotional stability so that they work well?

That's kind of cool. I saw this a while ago but thought it was fake. Too bad I have no knowledge of or interest in programming.

That being said, I'm kind of wary of waifu love coming into the public view. The more we get attention, the more we'll be ridiculed, ostracized, condemned, and lumped in with degenerate lifestyles we have no relation to. I don't want that.

You shouldn't put so much weight into what people think of your love

Personally, i think the prospect of waifuism being looked down upon or seen as "forbidden" would only reinforce my feelings for Fuuka

Thank you for your words--I've been thinking and praying since I read your response, and I think I've realized that I have a very unhealthy desire to be validated by other people. I'm going to try and not care as much.

Well this is really nice. I knew they were sincere into their objective as supporting 2D relationships, but this goes beyond what I hoped!

I still am kinda sad that I haven't the money to buy one, but I am confient that I will be able to someday.

They will start selling the first 300 units this December. And they can sell it to America too. Sadly it's only in Japanese for now, and with the standard character Hikari. The price is 298,000 Yen - around 2,650 $. Yes it's a lot, damnit

Also, from their blog:

>We are developing an app linked to Gatebox that allows you connect to your character whenever and wherever you are. Development is currently underway on a Gatebox link app to allow you to connect with it whenever and from wherever.

See pic related, this is great.

Ah, I see.

I didn't know it was that heavy of a topic for you.

It is very important to value your love and wellbeing over other people's opinions, if you don't your life will be what others want from you, instead of what you want for yourself.

Ah forgot this - a Miku version of Gatebox is coming in 2018, probably. They shown this prototype at a festival in early september.

Truly the greatest company.

Honestly neither did I. This just sort of brought it to the surface, and made me realize I had this problem. In hindsight, I think 'validation' may have been the wrong word. It's more of a fear of what others might think; or fear of disapproval. Regardless, what you said still stands.

>It is very important to value your love and wellbeing over other people's opinions, if you don't your life will be what others want from you, instead of what you want for yourself.

I agree; I'll try to take your words to heart. Thank you.

>You can send messages to her

Okay, this is cute. I'm still 50/50 on the 'AI waifu' thing, but this might convince me.

As interesting as it is, I have my reservations.

Unless My waifu's writers themselves developed or helped develop it, I'd consider getting it, although more of as a simulator than as really talking to her.

A toy or game if you will

That's my feel as well. I would be much more inclined to purchase one if they brought in the show writers to consult or something, so that they would make her actually her, and not just a glorified Siri that looks like her.

This is actually quite a smart move.

By offering such benefits specifically to waifuists, they are therefore way more likely to attract waifuists employees. Indeed, not only do they offer more money and an extra day off for waifuists, but they also send the message that the enterprise normalise waifuism, so one will feel that he can be himself as a waifuist in front of his colleagues and talk about his relationship openly without being stigmatized.

How is it an advantage for the company? Well if you have waifuists working on your waifu AI machine, than you are way more likely to get better results, because waifuists are not only going to work for the money, but also out of genuine passion. Waifuist employees will also perfectly understand what waifuists clients would want with this waifu AI machine, so the product will be of higher quality.

Really, the people working at Gatebox’s recruitment office are pretty clever.

I'm not going to lie, I've been following this thing for a while and I really want one. The only thing that holds me back is they still haven't made it work in English yet. I bet I could use that MMD model for Chiaki as a replacement for the little character in it.

I had the same thought, brilliant idea on their part.
