How do you feel about fanon regarding your waifu? (Headcanons, theories, fanfiction, etc.)? Do you disregard it, or do you use it to sort of 'fill in the blanks' when it doesn't contradict canon?
Personally it's a mixed bag for me, on the one hand there are some fan theories and even entire fanfics that I really like. (There's one rather long one that I particularly enjoy that adapts/expands on the with more focus on Team RWBY as individual characters. The author is really good at writing for Ruby, and a lot of the stuff he wrote, like some of Ruby's interests and quirks, and more details about her family situation, I basically consider canon.) On the other hand, though, there's a lot of times where I *don't* like how others interpret her, for example the fandom at large likes to interpret her as being in a relationship with her friend Weiss, despite a complete lack of evidence for this.
