I like how antifa were just peacefully exercising their right to free speech on the stage but Sargon's "le rational" twinks immediately physically assaulted them just because they disagree with their opinions. Really shows how much these people actually care about free speech.

We're moving rapidly back to 60's conditions when leftists were the main group of terrorists. Cynical as it sounds, there's a reason why states like El Salvador, Chile or Argentina decided it was a good reason to start and grill sociology students with a blowtorch. Not trying to justify their often excessive violence, but it's what people like antifa are asking for. They never acknowledged any concept of right conduct in war, the only limit to how brutal and inhuman they get is their physical ability to do so. So of course, their enemies respond in a like manner.

I don't think you're being cynical, it's controversial but it's true. There's absolutely no reason to respect a thief in the same way there's no real reason to respect the property rights of a leftist. To respect the property rights of someone or something that fundamentally refuses to acknowledge them is really just a pointless and borderline dangerous exercise, so it's generally better off that these people learn their lessons the hard way. They don't seem to understand that if you punch or act in aggression against other people, they can certainly punch right back, and probably at a much stronger and painful rate.

That pretty much sums it up. "Centrists" like to tell themselves and everyone else that they hold their positions because they carefully weighted all the evidence and looked at the topic from every possible angle, implying that everyone else didn't and holds an extreme position for that reason. Me, I look at the available evidence and the arguments and then dismiss so many bad ones and reconcile the good ones that I often end up with an extreme position, anyway.
