 No.77367

I live in the EU, aka bureaucracy hell.

Every time my business go well, the EU comes up with some new shitty regulation. One day there will be so many regulations that we will be de fact a communist union, and only big, state funded, sharia-compatible corporations will exist.

Therefore I'm thinking that I should start doing politics and destroy the system from within.

My plan is the following:

>join a political party

>found a classical liberal political association to gather members who sees me as a leader

>get a degree in some meme thing that gets you a comfy government job, like economics or political science

>produce content in mass full of free market propaganda, especially in the military

>get a comfy government job

>always put my people in position of power

>get elected in the parliament but never as prime minister

>maybe even get a position in the senate

>die without having accomplished anything but with the account full of stolen taxpayers money, having wasted my life doing politics instead of producing valuable things as I'm doing today

How shitty is my plan from 0 to shiggity?

ps. went classical liberal and not full ancap because society isn't ready for it. They'll never know my true identity

 No.77369

Shiggy diggy. You won't even get the government job unless you kiss ass and lick a few dozen boots. Ron Swanson is a unicorn in real life.

You don't understand how politics work.

Politicians are all Ringwraiths. They are soulless, empty husks that do the bidding of higher masters. If you want to become a politician, you join a political party, start kissing ass to those above you, and start making deals with corporations and powerful individuals that further their business in exchange for them financially supporting you so you can advertise yourself more than your competitor, all while lying through your teeth that you give even one little shit about your voters. Then hopefully you will have made more friends and spent more money than the other guy when the election comes around, and you win the seat.

By this time, you will have completely sold your soul to your masters, and you will have forgotten about your original idea of "destroying it from within," and you will become another empty husk.

>Every time my business go well, the EU comes up with some new shitty regulation. One day there will be so many regulations that we will be de fact a communist union, and only big, state funded, sharia-compatible corporations will exist.

This about sums it up.

>How shitty is my plan from 0 to shiggity?

Meh. It would work if you could pull it off, but that's a big "could". That mainstream economics is shit does not mean you don't need a lot of talent to make it big in it, for example. You'll end up wasting your talent, but that's besides the point. First you need talent to waste.

But this here is the real problem:

>die without having accomplished anything but with the account full of stolen taxpayers money, having wasted my life doing politics instead of producing valuable things as I'm doing today

Don't give up, anon. I know it sucks to get stolen from, and doubly so if you are a business owner, but don't let the cynicism get to you. The one difference we can always make is that we can prevent ourselves from joining evil. If you somehow manage to become the next Ron Paul, or a Ron Swanson, then please, make the best of it, but if you can't, then don't become a leech. You'll just hate yourself for it, and not without reason.

They can afford to lobby the EU to make the laws suit them and hurt their compettition.

Did you know that every lobbying company has offices in Brussels as well as Washington?

>why won't the EU let me torture my employees :((

If the EU prohibited the use of thumbscrews and torture racks, then I'd have no problem with it, except because then it would be superfluous.

>But that's not the torture I mean!

Then what do you mean? Letting them work? Letting them work "too much" (how much is "too much")? What, exactly, is this torture you talk about?

>D-dude, I was just spouting empty rhetoric!

Oh, okay. My bad! Have a nice day, sorry I thought you said something of substance.

Well, I can show you the house that I grew up in as a child. We lost it because we couldn't pay the horrendous land taxes without taking up loans, which we defaulted on, because we also couldn't pay all the other shit our equivalent of the IRS wanted us to pay. Not sure about the tax rate back then, but it was probably the same as now, about 50 to 60 percent in the bracket my parents were in.

But hey, at least the money went to good use. Our town sent some health officials who sprayed noxious chemicals around us kids to bully my family, and some cops told us to throw our tenants out, for God knows what reason (they sure never told us). Oh, and some of the taxes also went into paying for nuclear submarines for Israel.

But enough about me and my petty grievances against the state that took my fucking house to pay another state to bomb little children in the Middle East. Let's talk instead about how unfair it is that you have to work a fourty hour week to afford your video games! You brave little soldier, you must be so alienated from your work!

Germany. We're not that socialist yet, thankfully, but we're getting there. There's talk of making public transport "free" in selected cities to have fewer car drivers and of socializing our healthcare system completely to make it more egalitarian.

>>77479

>city fire department

Probably not even privatized, just run on a profit basis. Not that this does much good when there's no competition around. But assuming that the fire department was a legitimate company, I still don't see why they should be forced to work for free. They should do it for moral reasons, when there is such an urgent danger at least, but if the rescue is too costly or too dangerous for them, then who are we to cast a stone at them?

Also:

>Implying this wouldn't happened in a communist state

Sure, but instead, the homeowner would have his property seized or be locked up for not paying his dues to the state. Or, you would make someone else pay for the homeowner, and use violence against him.

>>77514

He had a house, but no spare $75? What world do you live in? I have yet to meet someone in my country who is so poor that he couldn't make such an expense.
