Does /kind/ go to anitwitter? Post your @s here and I'll follow you guys.
I think it would be nice to have a bit more positive people in my feed, even though I could need to work on my positivity myself.

More like /a/ and shitposters run into twitter. You can't really group it, because twitter is all about who you follow yourself. I mean, if everyone here followed each other, it would be /kind/twitter.

When anons assume an identity/handle/avatar the result is often cancer or drama. Or incessant shit posting or trolling. Though there is a fair bit of fun posting.
But the negatives probably out weigh the positives. I see no reason for ever creating a twitter account again.
Also the blatant censorship, stupidity, political correctness and anti-intellectualism of twitter is reason enough to avoid it entirely.

Twitter's useful? I thought it was 'follow4follow omg memes xD' bollocks, alongside the stuff Twitter loves to do itself to screw you over.

Well I'm not to speak for others, but my personal experience with twitter is a mix between keeping in touch with some old friends, making new (and good!) friends, and wondering how come so many people follow me, when I'm not too sure why I'm so interesting. Maybe I'm a lolcow? Either way, If anyone here wants more followers I'd be happy to help.

Twitter literally lets you follow who you want, you can create your own echo-chamber if you want, and then you can just set your account to private.

I used to have a GNU Social account, but the instance I was on died. It was fun while it lasted.

You know how you can send emails to your friend who uses Hotmail, even though you are on Gmail? GNU Social is like that, but a twitter clone. You register on a site, and can talk to, follow, "retweet", etc. people who registered on different GNU Social sites. It's also free software so anyone can run a GNU Social site.

But you can't actually use Twitter with it? Would be nice to use Twitter without having an account
