I've spent some time on /christian/ after this thread was made, found them to be kind and earnest. It does seem to be a bit more adversarial than I'd expect a church to be, but I think that's more a symptom of their genuine passion about the subject.
I also like that they tend to oppose leftist idiocy without being neo-nazis.
