If they're "used" or official cans then thry probably went missing from a base somewhere and nobody gave a shit so their cost was effectively zero.

Aside from that hardware stores and even costo will occasionally sell them for $15 a pair.

$0 per unit under the Tractor Supply 2018 black friday deal, where the new manufacture steel M2A1 (aka 50 cal) cans were $8 each. If they offer the same deal next year I recommend placing multiple orders because they will retardedly ship too many in a single box and UPS will rebel.
