Let's say in another timeline, China is not the benevolent, peace loving country that it is today.
China's enormous population, lack of ethics, massive industrial base and debased-atheist mindset could make them a hard enemy to deal with.
How would a war against China play out in the modern day?
<Larp on>
Please try to go beyond just simple things like attacking the ports and roads. How would you sew dissension in the ranks? Make use of the minority groups? etc.

Chinks build cheap laser and point it at California. California catches fire and a ton of soyboys and kikes die in mansion fires. US and Canada retaliate with sanctions on imported cooking/general purpose reused oil. Chinks close down all Chinese restaurants in USA on Christmas day. This infuriates the kikes and they carry out the samson option, glassing the gay world.

>How would a war against China play out in the modern day?
I find that to be a difficult question. There's the part of me that says they'll get BTFO, but there's another part of me that knows the same thing was said about the Soviet subhumans.
That said, the Chinks have the advantage in population and terrain, since the urbanized areas would be the centerpoints of most battles, in my opinion. So expect constant warfare along the coast, cities, and rivers, with skirmishes and guerrilla actions in occupied territory.
>Make use of the minority groups?
Whomever their opponents are would need to use dissenting ethnicities, of course, like the Uighurs, the Tibetans, Koreans, Manchus, Mongols, and the Chinese minorities in the South and around Shanghai, and socio-political dissidents like pro-democrats and Christkikes to foment trabu throughout the country.
>Supplies
A big issue, naturally. Being the disgusting subhumans they are, the Chinks would easily eat anything they could get their hands on, humans included. Most other supplies may be gained through sympathetic powers and smugglers.
>Leadership
This is the hardest to accurately detail, but I would say that the military leadership would be poor all around, save for a few bright spots here and there among the NCOs. But above all, they would be incredibly stubborn and would refuse to surrender.
>Conclusion
With everything said, my conclusion here is that the Chinese would use strategic and tactical withdrawals to lead their opponents into the coastal, urban, and river valley areas, and then retreating deeper into the country. They would then use a combination of guerrilla and conventional tactics to drain the enemy's manpower and resources. Their supplies are going to be a big issue, but the Chinks would easily adapt to the situation. The leadership would fight until the last man, which would mean human wave tactics and total war.
As long as a few hundred million Chinks die, I'm happy with any result.

So, a war with China would be Vietnam but 100 billion times worse.
Then the solution is quite simple: Massive bombardment of the entire country. Nukes, napalm, anything you got. Level every city and village, burn every forest down to ashes and nuke their factories. Don't deploy a single troop on the ground as he will be eaten by a mob of starving chinks within minutes.
Once the entire country looks like a WH40K battle aftermath, use chemical weapons to turn the atmosphere completely uninhabitable

Iran sanctions don't really matter if shtf for China.
Land transport sucks and has to go through central Asia and to xinjiang via ex Soviet republic's, (which are pro Russian so not reliable), or Pakistan via the the Kashmir area. And the Pakistan aren't known for military compitence when the Indians come knocking to enforce their version of the mcmhaton line.
Alt route is through Afghanistan….. But that obviously has issues due to the state being nonexistent. If there was a stable government, you'd have to build a couple thousand miles of pipeline through Xinjiang (embroiled in Kebab vs Jan Chinese religious/ethnic war) or Tibet and Qinghai. Not very practical when China fights any war cause it's gonna make Yugoslavia look like a cakewalk.
Tibet route goes through one of two ways, G318 or G317 or 320 (?) (think equiv us interstate)
320 freezes over very hard and is rounnd a thousand or so miles more but more flat. It has major tempature extremes that can freeze fuel or light it on fire. Yeah. ( This is Tibet,Qinghai, gansu route)
G318 goes along the mountains near the borders and is bottlenecked at two locations near the Tibet/Sichuan border. I can literally tell you the exact bridge you could bomb and starve Tibet in two weeks.
Did I also mention that G318 is located such that is so unstable due to the geographical sediments (roads a kingside several rivers) that they literally fucking dig the road out 24/7?
( This is Tibet,Sichuan route)
Finally 317 is basically through Yunnan…. Which is jungle/mountain near the Burmese border….. There are places where native groups don't dare tread because of the inhospitable terrain or just land mines. It also shared merged into 318 about 200miles into Tibet and shares one of the bottlenecks
Now think about the logistics of constructing that infanstructure. Chinks have a set of specially built diesel trains by GE in the US (they can't build their own) to run tibet line bc of the climate….
They still fucking construct high voltage lines by trekking up mountains with fucking donkeys… Now, realize that those three states have basically no industrial capacity…. 6cylnders can barely climb mountains at that alt past 9000 feet (3000m)… Average height of g318 is 2,900m …. Highest in g318 is 16,000 feet (5200m ish). Did I also mention that the mountains drop down at Cliff like angles? Rockslide and earthquake very common. Roads are hairpin s bend x90. How do you keep oil pipeline flowing outside of two months in summer?
Finally, there is Russia via trans Siberian to N. China near Korea. Issue with that route is well, fucking Siberia, and that two great powers never get along well.
That's why as long as Russia, Us, Japan exist China will never be number 1 or 2…..

Sorry for shit spelling. I have a severe optical nerve infection and can't see for shit coupled with a sinus infection.
I also forgot to mention. Gansu routeruns through mountain range for most of it's length (who would've known?)
There's a story my great Gramps told me about Tibet. When they built g318 in the 50s, the death toll was about 5 people per every 1 km . There is a grave that marks the 5,000 they could burry in one of the towns .
Reason is because in Tibet the altitude kills you so fast. Tibetans (ethnic) die at age 60 on avg cause their hearts give out. Most han Chinese don't live past 50 if born and raised there. Alcimizing takes 2 weeks.
Just imagine if it was white or blacks who are on average taller tried to build the road. Many of the places is only accessable to Tibetans.. Only they can carry the gear and tools.
Even today you can not bring heavy machinery. Much like how US Navy ships width is limited by Panama canal, trucks are limited because 318/317 is built with one lane each side. And has various height restrictions as well as weight due to the bridges. There's a pretty sad story of how some of those were built if you are interested.

>It's an American/UK/France joint actually, with the UK and America being super pro-active in it.
It was exactly that when the Berlin Wall and Soviets were still a thing. After that it became a handy tool for the US to get shit done on the world stage with 'an international, multi-nation, task force' that just always happened to be working to advance the interests of the US and jumped at the presidents call. I know, pure coincidence, right?
>People again place too much hopes in these movements instead of doing shit themselves
Trump, Brexit, and the GJ's are exactly that - people trying to fix shit themselves. Maybe not in the most effective ways (as we've seen with Donald and Brexit, using political tools to try to fight the politicians puts the battle squarely on their terms) but that is exactly what these things are.
>The consensus here is to prevent more brother wars instead of blaming each other retard
1: If you're going to speak English then you can at least put the effort in to spell things correctly.
2: Something is not a consensus just because you want it to be one.
3: Considering what America has done to Britain in particular and Europe in general you have a long way to go before you call me 'brother'.
>WW1 was a war pretty much egged upon by the brits and their french cockslaves
WW1 was a clusterfuck of various causes. The first among them was a generation of monarchs who just weren't up to the job and couldn't hack it in a political climate based on the assumption that the cunt on the throne was as intelligent and strong as his ancestors had been (gee, it's almost like trusting the genetic dice to continually produce good things from an increasingly inbred pool isn't the best idea!). If you want to contest that then explain Tzar Nicholas - the man who couldn't even organise enough beer and pretzels at his own coronation, a mistake that lead to numerous deaths in the ensuing riot, and who earned his reputation as a weak and vacillating ruler. Secondly, the way in which European politicians had tried to ensure that a continental war didn't break out only looked good on paper (deterrence kinda works with nukes, but not so much with the tech of the early 20th century). Thirdly, the war was already inevitable when Britain and France started to pay attention to that 'damned foolish thing in the Balkans'; we also kind of have to mention the Austro-Hungarians at this point. To the various Magyarbros who post here, I love your content, but the war would barely have warranted a footnote in an article about Eastern European Military History if the Habsburg Empire had seized Belgrade in the days following the assassination of the Archduke. Even without Bismarck in government Germany was probably right in their advice there, and that was the last chance to avoid WW1.

1. I'm fed with up with this bullshit about NATO and the whole world problems being on America. America is the one who sacrifices the most money, equipment and troops for it, along with UK & France with Poland far behind, no one else wants to commit. And now everyone blame America for doing things they want to do, never mind all the Middle east bullshit now is directly tied to the UK for their mishandling of policies back in the 19th-20th century back to the goddamn Crimean War, and the France for messing up Africa and Indochina.
2. Messing up Europe, you what m8? Europe messes up itself in the 2 most gigantic wars ever and now America becomes the sole responsible? What about the brits and french who started both wars?
3. Don't even deny it, WW1 was in fact like the Napoleonic war and the Crimean War before it, an attempt for the brits to control the continent, except by that point the british leadership sold themselves to Zionist jews so in the end they lost their empire while they cede their land to jews.
The shit behind South Africa's end of apartheid and Rhodesia's dissolution? Also got british hands behind it, in particularly Rhodesia.
Heck, the brits kinda fucked up America too if you consider the fact they ended slavery then edged on the Union to end slavery (while promising with honey words that they will help the Confederacy, words that never become reality).
And all of this, I blame the British government and jews, never the brits, unlike you who blame common americans for everything wrong with your life.

But AH didn't have the forces for that, because most of the army was sent to Galicia to fight the Russians. The commander, Oskar Potiorek, was such an inept idiot that he still tried to attack the entrenched enemy without having a superior number of troops, and wasted hundreds of thousands of lives out of hubris and a lust for revenge. Not going to argue with that, Satan, as it's demonstrably true. America also gains the most from it politically and economically - which is why you're pumping so much into it. Maybe over the next few years Russia will up their game again and NATO will actually serve its original purpose again. It'll be interesting to watch either way.
>Europe messes up itself in the 2 most gigantic wars ever and now America becomes the sole responsible?
I didn't claim that America was responsible for the world wars. I was thinking a lot more of your actions from '45 onwards. Your anti-imperial policies put the world in the state it's in at the moment (or at the very least were a major contributing factor). Your funding and training of commie revolutionaries to bring down the European empires was truely shameful - even if it did finally make you feel like the biggest fish in the pond afterwards.
>What about the brits and french who started both wars?
I'll grant you that the first world war didn't really become a world war until the British and French empires got involved, but I wasn't aware that Bosnia was actually a county of the UK. You learn such fascinating things online, don't you.

Most of these stories are either inflated for proaganda purposes, or are suppressed because of the bad press. I will attempt to give you the best edition that remains somewhat credible as my great gramps brother was in Tibet for the purpose of construction as an battalion level political officer (?) I suspect mao purged him in the 70s and had him executed
The area around 30.103821, 97.198348, has a bridge near a place called the "72 bends of the Nu river". Originally in the 50s' the bridge was built out of nothing but entrenching tools and mud due to the lack of trees in the area (Now replaced by concrete bridge a bit further downstream). Because they didn't really understand the affects of altitude sickness (esp. Hypoxia), and oxygen poisoning (yes that is a thing). The more severe effects include long/short term memory loss as well.
If you've never seen the Nu river, it is like the white water rafting in Colorado river but much faster and much more deadly. I am told around ~100 (((500 is the propaganda est.))) people died building that bridge. One of the men went missing they never accounted for until about 2 years ago. they didn't realize until they finished building the bridge that one poor sod (I was told he was a Sergant or an Lt.) was probably buried inside the first bridge pillar from the Eastern side. Legend goes that he fell into the mud while they were building it and they couldn't get him out. They found the remains recently but can't actually get him out because that would collapse the old bridge.
Around 29.491546, 96.707925 is Rawu lake. Its a really scenic spot, but back when they decided to build the roads they carved it into the mountainsides, they have since made a few bridges between the gorges. IT is considered one of the most dangerous spots in the route due to the false impressions of the incline. Every year there are at least 10-30 people cycling who die because of the fact that either a boulder fell from the mountain and crushed some por sod on the bridges, or the bridge guardrails went out and they cant see due to perpetual fog in the area.
Finally not a bridge per say but related.
29.722116, 98.824630 is close to the Jiansha river which deliminates the Tibet State border. About the first 80km is extremely unstable due to the geology of the area. Back in the old days before they paved the route, it used to be all mud this portion still is due to the frequency it collapses. Since the chinks couldn't build engines for shit back then (and even now lol) cause it was le ripoff gaz trucks, they had to push it through this section like the redball express. This is one of those "supressed" stories per say, but it was not uncommon to hear of anywhere from 1 person to an entire squad or platoon dying because they were trying to push the vehicle when the section of the road collapse. They couldn't retrieve the bodies because of the rapid water flow, and the guys behind them had to dig out the rest of the road from the mountainside again with entrenching tools. they have exavators now AFAIK ~every 2-5km I think…..

Came home from working in China recently, and what you're saying is true. Breathing the air feels like you're deepthroating a tractor exhaust pipe, the food will fuck you up, and you do see the wealthier chinks walking around with breathing masks hooked up to a compressed tank if it's a particularly bad day. The one thing you get wrong there is that the Chinese normies will happily charge against prepared fortifications with emplaced miniguns and presighted artillery with nothing but their (tiny) dicks in their hands - they're pretty much brainwashed from birth to accept that it would be a wonderful idea to lay down their lives for the Middle Kingdom.

That's horrifically inaccurate - you can clearly see the outlines of two trees in the foreground. That couldn't be a scene in China. I got a bit autistic about checking the air quality stats (after the first two weeks I got pretty accurate at gauging the level by how fucked up my throat felt) and a good day in Beijing (wasn't working there, thank God) starts just below the point where any other country would issue a public statement along the lines of "NATIONAL EMERGENCY! Fair point, but unless the invader has magnificent logistical support it wouldn't be too hard for China to field enough men to stretch your ammunition supply to breaking point. Most nations would hold back on conscripting the old men and young boys until the war was already lost - with China they'd probably be a large chunk of the second wave.

I think a lot of people miss the conception of the difference between propganda and actuality. My gramps went to the school of the central communist party in China AKA think USNA but for politics. IT's changed a bit under xi but it's still the same. The CCP people inside have the phrase "discuss what is real, show what is different". There are literally no barriers to what you can say within the communist party inner works about criticism (aside from Xi cause he is a fuckhead). The non party members see all the propaganda and only the propaganda. In the by monthly meetings the CCP and its branches have, it's more of a shitty metocracy with an insane genocidal dictator that wants to emulate stalin at the top. I suspect this is related to the old Scholar-beaucrat class in feudal china

Its required education for all people above a certain rank within any state related company (eg; University/state companies, Political officers, etc).
Basically, its a leadership school that also teaches what they're supposed to say vs what they think.
Back in my gramps day, they communist revolution was part of the ciriculumn but not as imporant. More of it was the nationalisim and how to improve China (so, in a sense, strategic thinking). Back in his day it was Deng's three reforms (Military, economic, and cultural). General geopolitics and how it relates to China, and how to use politcal strength to solve economic issues.
Nowdays under Xi I am not sure…. Xi is very socialist compared to the earlier leaders. Likely something to due with his "core Socialist values". Xi is very left leaning in relation to other leaders (closest to mao) But only for appearances. His true goal is just to make himself written down as the one dude who "led" china through it's revival the person that credit should go to is Deng Xiaoping. In Chinese they secretly relate him to Cao Cao with the phrase "名为汉臣,实为汉贼“ (In name he is a minister of the Han (Chinese) government, In reality he is a thief of the Han (eg; Usurper).
There is a lot of Anti-xi sentiment, but the plebs are mostly placted due to "generous" benifits and a lack of information. That and most critical people go missing (read: Free gulag ticket). Most are brainwashed fucks. The ones in the CCP high up enough to go to the CCP's school generally know how fucking bad the situation is there.

Massive amounts of heavy industry and no control on where you can and cannot dump the waste that it creates. In China you can literally have a Simpsons tier situation where a power plant is dumping all its waste into a river or next to crops. Cars are definitely a huge factor though, due to the massive population and sheer amount of them. All of China's power plants also are using very old and inefficient technology, compared to any standards in basically any other country.
IMO: China is at where Japan was during 1950s or so. Japan was similarly known for exporting really shitty products to America back then, just as China is now. However, I don't think that China will grow out of that phase due to the extremely boneheaded government. If you want a good insight into what China is like, watch SerpentZA videos on Youtube. Basically most of the mainland is 50-150 years behind modern times, especially southern china. There are villages where there is zero power, sewage systems or running water but what the government has spent money on is huge billboards of CCP propaganda with Xi on it. I don't think there is anything wrong with Chinese people, however the CCP has definitely destroyed a lot of the culture and history and really made the general population less homogenous and has made them totally willing to just sell out their own brother if it means they will increase in status. If the CCP had never come to power I think the country would be in a lot better of a situation, similar to what SK and Taiwan are like.

I don't really think so. The Qing was endlessly brutal early on and endlessly incompetent in their later years and really stunted the growth and modernization of the country when it was so important during the 19th century and the government was a unstable mess when the RoC came around. The Republic of China wasn't flawless, but they were on the right track and trying to solve their issues.
I don't want to get into WW2 too much, however I would like to say that Hitler should have made the Japanese fuck off from China. It was a dumb thing to do because fighting the RoC was doing nothing other than supporting the communists. If truly Hitler's goal was to fight communism as he claimed, he would have done that. This would have also potentially gotten him another powerful ally in Asia if they had gone all in for support of the RoC and trying to stamp out communism. Potentially, it would have even been an important decisive factor in the war against the Soviets, assuming the RoC got full control of China and they had gone against the communists together.
>They'll never get to a level where they can make ball point pens.
It's a funny story and all, but I don't it is because of a total lack of ability, it's more cause you have no reason to do it because the Swiss and Germans have already perfected it and the cost is so low.

The biggest source of this shit is a huge amount of out of date industrial shit. When they were building their manufacturing base they went with the cheapest designs they could find, which meant stripping out all of the things that would have reduced the amount of pollution coming out of the factory. They couldn't even bother with using the taller smokestacks that we know gives the smog time to disperse before it gets to ground level.
The average Chinese city (particularly in the north) is equal parts tower blocks and factory, and they keep the factories running 24/7 except for public holidays. Their main source of power generation is coal burning generators (that they're planning to expand by 25% at this point). Oh, and also the overwhelming majority of chinks don't have electric heating in their homes, so they burn solid fuel/diesel to keep warm. By the time it got to November the city I was working in looked like it was on fire just from the amount of smoke in the air.
You'd need to start dumping tons of VX on their cities before they noticed that they were under attack.

1)Mao more or less held his commanders children hostage so they would not defect

I think China would largely attempt to project further power in Asia, such as Vietnam, Laos and Taiwan for example. We'll be using NATO, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asian nations as BlueFOR with China, and perhaps North Korea, being OPFOR in this situation. We'll be leaving out India, Russia and a few other countries for the sake of brevity. I doubt Russia would get involved beyond perhaps arms trade or military advisors with China, due to them getting very little out of the affair.
Fighting them outside of mainland China, while hard fought, would be more then possible due to logistical issues if they attempted large troop concentrations, or if they attempted smaller formations, technological, doctrinal and to an extent, combat experience I think would put the balance in BlueFOR's favor.
We'll start with the local resistance of countries, since it would take time for NATO and other forces to get prepared and arrive to the conflict zone in a large scale, we'll use countries in Asia, specifically Southeast Asia to begin with. This is with the assumption the US will hold off from using their Navy outside of assisting Japan and South Korea, in favour of waiting for further assets to come from elsewhere in order to have an overwhelming advantage later on.
While militarily I think China would have a large advantage over other countries in the region(Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia etc.), the terrain and infrastructural(or lack there of) development would give the defending countries a chance to at least hold of the Chinese military until military assistance can arrive from elsewhere. While in this area the issue of having a large force of soldiers would be less of a issue logistically for the Chinese, due to proximity and being land routes which railways can be used, so supply lines would be harder to cut off, they would take quite a bit of ground, but they would likely get bogged down eventually the farther they get from their borders as the roadways get sparser and less developed. The conflict would likely be very asymetrical in nature, due the reality the situation, the defending countries would engage in guerilla warfare against the Chinese.
They would likely easily land on Taiwan and enveloping it, but I can imagine there would be some extremely fierce urban warfare in Taipei and other urban centers. Overall though, due to proximity and lack of landmass, I can see Taiwan being overwhelmed in the long run, but with a good level of partisan resistance.
The Philippines would be a much harder target then Taiwan, due to population and size, but the Chinese navy would probably achieve local dominance over them, but I cannot see them gaining much in terms of ground, due to sheer density of possible resistance from the civilian population.
Japan would be largely untouchable due to US naval presence, outside of possible air incursions. Even if the Chinese managed to land on Japanese soil, they would likely get repulsed because at any location the Japanese military would be able to concentrate forces quickly due to their infrastructure and the fact the Chinese would need to cross the sea, providing them a local advantage.
South Korea on the other hand would likely have a much harder time. While I doubt they'd get entirely occupied, Seoul, and other areas close to the DRPK's border, would get overrun.
This would all likely go on for several weeks to months depending up the country in question.
With NATO and other nations involvement, the situation would change. While I doubt the Chinese would get entirely repulsed from Indochina, they would likely retain a foothold with the some fierce fighting in the region.
The US navy alone would be able to cut off the Chinese forces in Taiwan and Phillipenes, though I do see ground fighting in retaking Taiwan being a brutal affair, but with BlueFor winning.
South Korea would be perhaps where the most significant fighting would take place. It would be a meat grinder at best for both sides.
Any attempts at taking any territory by BlueFor in China proper would end horribly, due to obvious reasons in this scenario, due to overwhelming local advantage.
In the end though, the entire conflict would likely end in status quo or minor territorial gains, with everyone coming out of it looking a lot worse then they went in. Casualties, civilian as well as military, would likely be very high, economies would have been ravaged and the politics of Asia would be extremely tense from there on. I doubt any country would cease to exist, but the cultural mindset of many would likely be irrevocably changed.
>tl;dr
It would be a shitshow, where everyone who goes in, comes out worse.

China cannot feed itself, they can feed a ton of people but there are simply way too many of them. The country might be big, but most of it is actually desert which is completely unfarmable. China will lose any war against a major power because all you need to do is keep their infrastructure and supply lines down for a couple months to incite a rebellion and all of their southern neighbors except Nork will help take them down. They'll lose the west half of the country almost immediately, and by the time a war would break out it's almost certain that Japan will have remilitarized enough to be able to blockade them with support from the US.

If you look at the sea routes into China they almost all go through the waters around Indonesia. If you can dominate the waters around Singapore, Jakarta, and the Spratly Islands then nothing is going to arrive in Chinese ports. Even if you can't catch 100% of the shipping you don't need to stop/sink/capture that many before even China's closest trading partners stop thinking it's worth the losses. Three squadrons of subs could do the job; The US Pacific fleet could have it done in a few weeks.

Take a look at Beijing, nearly every factory was shut down within the last couple years to reduce pollution and while it has massively improved you still have to wear a mask at least once a week when the wind is weak (it normally blows it away). They also implemented a law where you can't drive if your license plate ends with one of the two no-drive numbers of the day, removing 20% of the cars from the road (does not apply to EVs).
LA is actually a similar situation, they don't really have much manufacturing but because it's so dense and car-oriented they get smog anyways, it'd be a lot worse if they weren't next to a windy coast though.

By the time it's finished China will have 4 carriers.
Remember when all the MSM and western Think tanks c/c chinks official statements that "China only wanted 2" and I was the only one telling you it's bullshit and that in a couple of YEARS (not decades) the chink fleet will be on par with the US fleet and you were calling me a shill (despite the fact that all those previously cited people TAKE THE COMMIES MONEY TO DECEIVE PUBLIC OPINION)?
Turn that that now they they say "it's only 6", with, at least, one coming online every 1 year and a half in between 2017 and 2030.
And on the other surface ships they're already at half the USN capacity with 12 cruiser planned, 4 built, at least 2 more in construction VS 11, with an unknown number planned of US-style destroyers, 23 built, at least 7 more in construction, an unknown number of European style destroyers, 30 built, at least 4 more in construction VS 66 USN destroyers. And for projection they have 7 amphibious transport dock, with at least another in construction, VS 13 San Antonios and a shit load of LST (and they added 3 Supply-class equivalent in a year…)
And all those ships are considerably newer, equipped with much better CIWS, and have been built using stealthy designs compared to the US fleet that is looking more and more like a bunch of cold war rust buckets.
The only thing they lack are a Wasp class equivalent but China is already TODAY close to 50% of the USN as far as surface fleet is concerned and they did it IN 10 YEARS from fucking scratch (FFS pre 2006, save a couple of soviet yard sales from the 90's, most of their ships were from the 50's!).
It's ridiculous to think that they won't be at a 100% equivalence in 2030.

As our international interests and obligations shrank (due to decolonisation) it became harder and harder to justify the prewar military budget. A lot of that money was also earmarked for social programs and the NHS. There was a bit of an upswing in the '80s, but then the wall came down, there was no more Soviet Union staring at us over the North Sea, and politicians can always find projects they'd rather spend the money on. Naval research and development slowed down, but is still moving along relatively slowly.
But then Tony Blair started cutting military spending (while sending British troops into combat), Gordon Brown took the cuts further, and then the Strategic Defence & Security Spending Review happened in 2010. The SDSSR 2010 went through the entire military establishment and budget like a circular saw and cut pretty much everything they could; reducing the number of men the RN could employ, decommissioning ships, cancelling or cutting orders, and slashing procurement orders. It was widely criticised and 5 years later another review basically came out and said "Oh, yeah, that was a mistake, but we're making more cuts now, shut up".
Brexit seems to have gotten the government realising that defence isn't something you can ignore, but unless they made it their number 1 priority the UK navy is going to take decades to recover from the damage done to it in the last 15 years.

Some years down the line what little is left of the Royal Surface Navy will be escorting the 3-4 specialised taxpayer moneysinks with onboard mosques because half the crew are Pakistani, and the "fleet" will of course spend most of its time patrolling in concert with the USN near Iranian and Chinese waters with the ever so friendly second greatest ally assuming sole responsibility for the defense of Great Britain itself.

And instead of filling it under "BS from someone that want, promotion and medals for "modernizing" the U.S. Navy" they believed it.
So they widely issue a sea version of their camo and did the same for the marines vehicles.

How would today's Globo-homo Wars For Israel US military fare against tech literate Chi-Coms?
Probably not nearly as good as in Korea because those were only Human Ant Wave suicide charges by peasants who themselves had only been recently (1949 or even later) been brainwashed.
Is BS that Chinese are smarter than WHITE Americans but they will be smarter than our largely Mexican and Negro (and gay, and female) armed farces of today. Also no doubt lot more motivated. GI bill of today gets you some gibs and a min wage "military friendly" shit job. Chi-Coms will be offering huge boost in your entire clan's social status(forever and ever) if you defeat Americans.

This is a survival ration type thing, not 24h, but it at least looks edible and probably won't get you sick. I'd think I'd rather survive off of crackers and jam than have to eat bleached rotten pork. There is no footage of their 24h rations which came into service some time last year, but again I'd imagine it would be edible.

No, no.
People just assume it's "stolen" but 9 times out of 10 they payed for it, European arms companies (or any industrial company really) made a fucking mint by selling designs sometimes entire programs to China (they notoriously bought the entire french anti-ship warfare program… as in the missiles but also the helicopters, the ships integration systems and even the CIWS that were developed but never installed on french ships).
West Germany supplied most of the land systems (and still does), Israel most of the air system (courtesy of the US), etc…

>So what happens when that supply line collapses in on itself?
What supply lines?
What happened is that our companies thoroughly monetized their KNOWLEDGE. A lot of it happened during the fucking cold war it was completely out of question to supply China DIRECTLY.
What happened the companies created from scratch entire parts of the military production of China. All it cost them was a few engineers and project leaders wages (as just duplicating existing stuff isn't especially hard) for billions of USD, arguably most of what China as a state was buying at the time.
Everything was to be done, the soviets assistance was a very classical "we set up and run a factory of X that makes Y design", once they were gone quality dropped and no new stuff could be made. So they didn't asked for "technical assistance", they asked for the entirety of an industry know how.
Everything was to be technical design schools, to trade schools, to assembly lines, to prototyping facilities.
And the Chinks PAYED them for all of it, and our countries said yes in a mix of greed because they stood to make a COLOSSAL amount of cash, shortsightedness and political attempt to split China and Russia (little did they know they had already split… and largely already made up by the soviet union collapse).
And since this worked so well in the 70's early 80's they did the same with CIVILIAN companies in the 90's, which AGAIN they largely PAYED for.
And today China is de facto the biggest economy on the planet and the factory of the world.

Conduct a massive psyop campaign. Most Chinese have to use VPN to access western Internet, plus they try to imitate American products. No outright military action, just a subtly yet steadily increasing amount of stuff on the internet about China’s misdeeds, combined with a few well-placed cyberattacks and better VPN made available to Chinese should do.

>not even China could escape from feminism
It's weird that you would be surprised by that considering China is among the most feminist countries in the world, it was one of the first to incorporate feminism into its official state ideology (before the west did.) In the 60s one of the core tenets of the Cultural Revolution was to eliminate gender roles and radicalize young females to become red guards engaged in violent terror against the populace on behalf of the ruling party. The architect of the Cultural Revolution was a literal psycho feminist (emphasis on the psycho,) Jiang Qing, Mao's wife, who was the most powerful person in China from 1973-1976 while Mao was in poor health and dying.

I think I remember a thread showing that the majority of Chinese field kitchens just have a communal pot for frying/boiling stuff with rice, and the MRE's are a more recent thing for them. Don't forget that the industrial revolution hit them in the 1970s and 1990s, and the reason that their economy is based on mass produced garbage is because they thought that it was the only way for them to get out of what they considered feudal communism.

Mao's wife was insane, but it matched her husband. One of them main reasons the cultural revolution was started is because Mao realized that Communism is meant to eliminate class in a reactionary way, but saw that after his revolution there were teachers and government members, and artists who contradicted his marxist theory. Rather than ignoring it, or acknowledging that he is a hypocrite, he called for young Chinese people to trash, harrass, and arrest their own parents, artists, teachers, even members of government simply to keep the revolutionary spirit alive.
In other words, Mao was as sociopathic as his wife.
