You guys joke but with the retards we have as a government this time it might actually end up like that…
Basically most people protesting are super-normies (35+, have jobs/pensions, small business owners, etc… the middle class that is getting sheared and has been condemned to disappear) with a movement that is largely provincial (outside Paris) and the government that, even by french standard, is completely out of depth has basically decided to let the Parisian subhuman scum run loose to discredit the protests (that are very largely peaceful everywhere else) and use it as an excuse to repress it with as much police violence they can (because that's the only way out of the pit they've dug themselves into). Except typically it's done far more skillfully than this.
Guess what happens when you beat up people that everyone knows are innocent?
Well, more people join up.
Tonight, EVERY political leader from far right to far left is backing the protesters and calling for the head of the interior minister, when last week everyone was saying "they're just a bunch of right wingers"…

Aye. Just don't completely block the barrel.
Use about 1/5th of the powder usually in the cartridge. You can easily pry them open one by one. Pour the powder into a bowl, weigh that, divide by the number of cartridges you opened, and then divide by 5.
Only pour that much into a cartridge, seal it up with a piece of cotton. Dip the tip of the cartridge into molten wax. This will make it water tight.
Don't use too much cotton, just enough to allow you to do the dipping without losing all your powder in a flash.
As for projectiles: I suggest you get some ball bearings with balls roughly half a millimeter smaller in diameter than the barrel. You can order ball bearings online with certain specs, or just head to the hardware store with a ruler and see what fits. I have had very good experiences with cylindrical roller bearings. They may not get any spin because there is no rifling in the barrel, but I have found that they tumble around in blocks of wood and cause comically large exit holes.
Or you could wrap some very small scrap into a piece of paper and use it like a shitty shotgun, but I never tried that because the barrel diameter of the gun I used to have was too small for any of the bits and pieces I had, and I didn't want to sit down with a file and make scrap for a whole day just to play with a weak shotty for shits and giggles.
If you don't want the projectile to fall out the front of your gun, use a piece of cotton. Cotton is amazing, but don't stuff it in there with force. You really don't want to block the barrel. You don't know how they treated the metal in the factory.
Metal can get weakened over time by excessive forces. Even if it looks like it can hold the full load after you have shot it a few times it may break later on. And a gun exploding in your hands is about as bad as a small grenade.
I would never increase the powder load beyond 1/5th of the original. Blanks are stupidly overpowered already, at least the military ones are.
It was fun while it lasted and it didn't take any modifications to my gun at all. Sadly my neighbors began complaining about some "hunters" shooting in the woods at night without a license, and one had pointed out that I should probably not take any more "night time walks" while those guys were still out shooting nearly every nigh, so I stopped making any more of those.

A Frenchie on KC made a good albeit long post.
Copypaste:
Since a lot of Bernds are asking for context, here's an explanation of what's happening. It ended up being a little long, but there's a few episodes to this story so this should help you catch up from the beginning.
What sparked this movement is a raise on petroleum tax decided by the government, supposedly for ecological reasons. One reason why this is so unnerving is the self-righteous hypocrisy of it. The tax obviously serves no ecological purpose. People who use a car and would be deterred by it have no other option but to keep using their car and pay more for petrol. They're working class people living in the countryside or outside large cities. They can't just switch to bikes or electrical scooters for going to work instead. Only Parisians and other metropolitans honestly believe this. The tax is only there to put money into the budget. Now, if the government had simply honestly said "we need to raise this tax because we need more money for the stuff the state pays", it's still a matter of debate, but I'm sure it would have gone over better. But instead they decided to turn it into a moral issue. "We must raise this tax in order to save the planet from global warming, and anyone who opposes it is worthless polluting piece of shit who doesn't care about the future". Incidentally this blatant misuse of environmental issues to justify an unrelated tax raise does enormous damage to environmental arguments.
Of course this is just the last straw. This comes after many previous tax raises which all affect the same people the most: the half of France that is working to lower middle class and lives outside the major city centres. This has been the case since before the election. Macron serves only his electorate: the quarter of France that is wealthy, cosmopolitan, well connected to globalisation. But the truth is he doesn't even serve those well. Those who voted for Macron thought "well he's going to fuck over the poor, but at least the economy will pick up again". And yet the economy is still as fucked as ever. This movement has been a long time coming, there were signs of something like this brewing in the province for months already.
The Gilets jaunes don't have any leaders or organisation of any sort. They're essentially an internet meme. "Put on the yellow safety vest that every car owner must have by law, and do blocking actions. Block streets, motorways, petroleum stocking facilities. Occupy toll booths to let cars through for free. Demonstrate in city centres. And leave the vest on your car's dashboard the rest of the time." The movement quickly became popular through social media, with demonstrations all over France. All of the demonstrations were peaceful, often cheerful, with police sent to control them often giving signs of support like putting on vests themselves. They bring and share food, they wave French flags, and they sing the Marseillaise. But the government's initial strategy was ignoring it, so a new meme appeared: let's all go to Paris on Saturday the 24th of November. Where in Paris? How about the Champs-Elysées. The government explicitly forbade that, because too close to the presidential palace, and oriented the protesters to the Champs de Mars instead, the park next to the Eiffel Tower known for New Years celebrations, football fan zones, and Revolutionary massacres.
9917ae No.629893
>>629892
2/2
On the 24th, there was nobody on the Champs de Mars, and some thousands of people not only on the Champs-Elysées, but all around the massive walled off security perimeter of police barricades that had been established in a six block radius around the presidential palace. When I went to the Champs-Elysées in the afternoon, it was completely out of the police's control. Barriers and other stuff from nearby construction work had been used to build barricades across the avenue, or to make big fires in the middle of it. Riot police was at the very end of it at Concorde, behind a huge cloud of teargas. But there was practically no violence. In fact I have never seen a demonstration or party on the Champs Elysées or elsewhere in Paris with so little violence and destruction. All the shops and restaurants were intact. Not one car was burning. Nobody was throwing cobblestones at police. The very worst was some minor vandalism from a handful of antifa. I had seen the destruction on the same avenue a few months earlier when France won the world cup, and before that when the PSG won: smashed windows, burning cars, real combat with police… and no mention of it whatsoever on the news. But this time, after the most peaceful demonstration I've ever seen, the government and affiliated media were talking about nothing but the "violence". All the ministers started talking about "scenes of war", caused by the "ultra-right" and the "brown plague", and blaming Marine Le Pen personally for all of it.
The strategy in this was twofold. First, exaggerate the violence in the hopes that the vast majority of Gilets jaunes, who the government knows very well are just regular people, would be horrified by it and no longer want to be associated with the movement. Second, brand the violence and by extension the entire movement as far right Nazis and associate it with Marine Le Pen. This was meant to recreate the conditions of the second round of the presidential election last year, when Macron was facing Marine Le Pen, and obscenely spent the two weeks before the election touring sites of Nazi massacres and Holocaust memorials, more or less telling people "if you don't vote for me you support the Holocaust". It backfired completely. A poll last week showed that 84% of French people now support the Gilets jaunes. And all the violence talked about in the media non-stop inspired two groups of people who, unlike the Gilets jaunes, are far more capable of violence: antifa who like to burn shit and smash bank windows and make anarchist graffiti, and racailles (immigrant delinquents) from the suburbs of Paris who saw an opportunity for some looting and car burning.
And so yesterday happened. There were some Gilets jaunes in Paris again, though fewer than last week. But this time there were a shitload of antifa and racailles. Hundreds of cars were burned, even buildings were set on fire. Shops were systematically smashed and looted clean. 130 people injured including police. With the police able to do nothing but protect the government palaces. All of this caused by a few hundred, a few thousand people at most. By the evening half the metro system was closed, snipers had been set up on the roofs around strategic buildings, and the prime minister made an appearance wringing his hands and on the verge of tears, with the interior minister next to him silently looking down to the ground like a beaten dog. The lesson was clear: violence absolutely works, and the government, even the entire system itself, is incredibly fragile. I expect this lesson has been learned by the Gilets jaunes as well.

That's the thing nobody actually voted for him.
At best people bought the whole "Le Pen is Holocaust" BS and voted AGAINST Le Pen, that major difference.
And yet the cunt has been acting like people are actually genuinely for him and the entire MSM to laud him as a God (I shit you not. They call him "Jupiter" unironically) which Chirac in the same situation NEVER DID, because he could rub two brain-cells together so he posed himself as a neutral "reassembler" as one should do in such situation.
All of this when the FN is the 1st party of France because shit is profoundly wrong in France.
So when Jupiter decides that the poorest of his citizens aren't taxed enough (in the country with the highest taxes on the planet) well his citizens think about "taking him down a peg", which in France as a very particular meaning.

The only thing I can agree on with the vexillology autists is that a flag should be easily recognisable and distinguishable from a distance.

The dimensions and combinations of color make it both recognisable and distinguishable from other flags it may encounter on the field, not only that, but it also respects the heraldic rules and uses colors that are already commonly used to make the viewer feel a sense of familiarity.

You keep the tricolor in it's cocarde (both historical and modern) form which is the true historical symbol of revolution for the french (brought forth by Lafayette and approved by the King) while the layout rebuilds the white cross, symbol of all old french flags that were 1:1 ratio.

If I reflect on my knowledge regarding the German population in Hungary, it have something to do with Germans coming here
a)being Catholics just like the majority of Hungarians
b)not having any natural elite (either nobility or religious) to lead the local German population's seccessionist movements;
c) Hungary being part of the Habsburg Empire, which later became Austria-Hungary in 1867, so there was no reason to secede from the local German's part when living under German rulership already
d) Germans being hilariously fast to assimilate. I just know, half my family originates from Swabia, who came here some little more than 180 years ago. When the Revolution of 1848 broke out, they fought against the Habsburgs, on the side of the Hungarian revolutionaries.
These are just my theories of course.

Thats true. My great-grandparents still had a great Swabian (and thus German) heritage and they are often described by my father (who still had the luck to know them) to be quiet folks, only speaking when it was important or when they had something meaningful to say.

To add a bit more to your points: Hungary had two kind of Germans, the first ones were invited by the kings between the 11th and 15th centuries to build new towns for trade and minig (most major towns of what is today called Slovakia were built by Germans to mine out the mountain). The second kind were peasant settled by the Habsburgs in the 18th century They were invited specifically to settle sparsely-populated areas, so they weren't rivals of the already present locals.

Same with guys getting shot with rubber bullets,
that's a perfectly normal and acceptable level of violence for France.
At least for anyone remotely familiar with french protests, CRS and Mobile are all extremely professional (BAC a bit less but still) everyone knows that if you stay and continue once summations have been made you're liable for getting your head bashed in if they catch you.
Put them up or fuck off.
Which is why there isn't many people going to the Champs Elysee despite the movement being massive and massively approved.

Even the Japanese communists had the right idea of taking down the ATC tower before anything; of course, they had to go underground through a manhole, but they still made it on top. I suppose they're not exactly aiming for a civil war, and that's why they don't go all out.

Arise, European army
The day of glory has arrived!
Against us, the Frenchman's
Bloody banner is raised (repeat)
Do you hear in our countryside the impure cries of the wretches?
Who come—unless our arms prevent them—to take our Africans, our Arabs!
To arms, Europeans!
Form your battalions!
March, march, the blood of the whites will redden our furrows!
What of the infamous far-right devils
Who would make the law in our homes?
What of the Nazi cowards
Who would crush us under their feet?
And abominable Le Pen
Infamous henchman of the Christians
Who would settle in the house of our adorable Allah?
Tremble you perverse and timid,
Before the bonfires of the adversaries
Tremble, your perfidious intrigues,
Shall finally receive their due
All are raised to fight you
From Saint Jean d’Monts to Beaupréau,
From Angers to the town of Airvault,
Our non gender binary lads want to only fight
Muslims, true sons of the Masjid,
Reject your enemies and
The weakness and the servile fear
Which you see in a conquered country
But these bloody "citizens,"
These allies of Russia, these treasonous and imposed whites
Are the cause of all our miseries
O Blessed Macron,
Lead and support our avenging arms!
Against an enemy gang,
fight alongside your zealous warriors!
To your standards victory,
Is certainly assured
The regicides' death,
Shall be your triumph and our glory!

Except for the fact that I'm not certain it isn't theater to rack in more normies and pretend the FN (which was never "civic nationalist" BS and de facto radioactive in France). The way it all happened and the timing is very very suspicious. Basically it came down as the CRIF (french all powerful version of AIPAC) came down saying that at the rate things were going (actual pogrom from arabs against jews) he was going to back the FN. Then JMLP made a jew references, then Marine excluded him, showing "proof the FN had changed", and shortly after changed the party name.
To me it looked like the old man was sacrificing himself for the sake of the future making the party win big (which it did) as any good fascist his age should go down.
Also internally Marine cannot hold the party without crucial supports that were long time supporters of her father, so if they're still backing her they might be privy to something we aren't.

There is not much to share they're regular police, Police in France is split into uniformed and plain-clothed uniforms are there to cool down/defuse/intimidate/patrol when plain-clothed are just better to catch criminals off guards.
Uniformed patrols is a dissuasive element they will be first on the scene, take statements, securing scenes, etc…when BAC patrols are usually the ones chasing/arresting.
As a result BAC are only made up of veterans and volunteers while uniformed tend to be junior.

A bit like WWII WP smoke grenades.
Of course there is still a delay since it's a grenade and an explosion is an explosion so they've been killing and maiming people left and right with those because it turns out that tossing explosives into a crowd isn't exactly "less lethal".

Shit like this could unironically save many lives. Simply teaching kids how to bandage wounds, how to carry someone as a group, how to put out minor fires, how to crawl underneath smoke and how to react when something fucky is going on would be very useful. Also: teaching kids more about nature.
Biological education is fucked. Entirely.
They teach kids how lungs work in detail, despite kids breathing being perfectly capable of breathing without knowing that. They don't teach kids which plants grow in their area, despite kids being constantly surrounded by plants.
I remember back when my aunt and her kids came over from the big city for a visit. I let the kids play in the forest behind the house and maybe an hour later they came back in with a bunch of flowers in their hair and some for her mother and whatever.
Took me a while to notice that one of the flowers the kid had in her hair was a digitalis. For any wanna-be streloks from the cities: digitalis is deadly. Ingesting very little of the plant can cause severe diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, irregular pulse, and will make you woozy like you had the worst hangover. Ingesting more than "very little" will make your heart freak out and you will die.
I remember my big brother sniffing a digitalis petal and vomiting a less than half an hour later. Digitalis sucks, but it's beautiful as fuck and very common.
Long story short: kids were vomiting and shitting all over the house for thee next couple hours. Had the worst hangover for the next few days. Mother was living at me for not telling her kids about the plants that grow in this forest. I was livid at her for not telling her kids about the plants that grow in any forest.
The two were 10 and 14. They could have died if they had decided to eat any of those plants, or even sucked on their fingers for whatever reason. Neither of them had known about digitalis. Both of them have already had biology in school. This shit needs to stop. Education reforms when?

I highly doubt that the people who were designing hi-vis vests were using an ancient Chinese revolution as inspiration. The French chose them not for their color but for their association with motorists in France. The gas tax, while FAR from the only grievance of the French people, was the straw that broke the camel's back. I would hope a modern first world country has a fire-resistant uniform for crowd control in the event protesters are able to score a direct hit on officers. I still think a better solution is in vid related. I guess you could combine both approaches by using molotovs to control movement while using fireworks or pipe bombs to break apart formations. The idea here is to isolate and destroy small groups of police rather than formation to formation fighting. Do french civs have access to thermite?

Understandable. If it really does burn modern material like you say, then perhaps using molotovs in addition to bricks as direct attack weapons could amplify the effects of the tactic. The whole plan was to force the police to retreat through the fire, thus injuring themselves. You could use those rolling trash bins eurofags tend to have as mobile shields to protect against watercannons and push police back during a forward maneuver. Debris and garbage fields would be established as fallback points in case police try to regain momentum and can be used as barricades to police APCs/riot vehicles.
The airbursting incendiary idea is pretty good. You could even use roadflares or other molotovs to ignite the now dispersed gas. Challenge would be keeping the gas from evaporating while the incendiaries are thrown to ignite the fuel. Something like motor oil or diesel might be better. As far as flammable pressurized gas, why not use propane or butane tanks? Just roll an ignited 20lb propane tank towards the cops. Put the m80 in the stem near the valve, open the valve (which is blocked by the m80/stopper) and ignite the fuse on the m80. Wrap a burning piece of cloth soaked in kerosene or diesel around the tank to ensure ignition and build pressure and send it towards them.
a62878 No.631752

Take an empty glass bottle. Stuff lit M80 in it. Recap bottle and quickly throw. The exploding firework will burst the bottle like a type of low-range glass frag grenade. ANTIFA developed the tactic, and I believe moldylocks was arrested while trying to carry it out.
>>631750
Wouldn't the pressure just force the M80 out of the stem? The hairspray grenades are light enough to carry a sack of them, and they're as easy to use as light the firework attached to it and throw. Also super cheap compared to other compressed canisters. $1 cans of spraypaint could also work. Coleman camp stove tanks may be just as usable with a bigger boom though.

>Wouldn't the pressure just force the M80 out of the stem?
Not if you block it purposely. The point is to cause dangerous overpressure in the tank due to overheating (wrapped in burning blanket). The m80 then weakens stem by exploding, breaking the valve in the stem, creating catastrophic failure of the tank near the stem. You could use shit like butane or acetylene as well.
>The hairspray grenades are light enough to carry a sack of them
Indeed. But sometimes you need to clear the whole block. The 20lb tanks aren't too expensive either and are commonly available. You can also buy 5lb or 10lb tanks used for welding too.

I myself never did those things, but I was in the business of hunting down gasline leaks using a propane torch.
None of this ended up in as much destruction as when one of the fellows at the implements dealership left the compressor running on a large tractor tire. By the time it blew, the pressure had built up to the point where it blew the paneling off the walls of the workshop, dented the rolling doors, and shattered the windows. This resulted in the still continued practice of using a homebrew adapter to attach 2 liter bottles to the shop air compressor and blow them up during breaks.

For the most part the French Police was more or less prepared this time and arrived in full force, with working APCs and a functioning plan. They blocked the demonstrators into streets and bouelvards, preventing them from getting through to the Arc de Triomphe, and other important and symbolic locations around Paris.
I wouldn't say it was a minor incident, but compared to the protests from the week prior, it wasn't as chaotic. Perhaps it wasn't as spontaneous as last week?
This below is my very primary understanding but the police, despite their sheer disregard for the safety of protestors and optics, was able to scare and demoralise the already disorganised protestors from taking organised action by preemptively firing tear gas and stun grenades to keep protestors away from the police line, and picking out protestors using plain clothes officers and arresting them.

Anon almost every German in Eastern Europe and the Baltic was invited as a settler to turn marches and swamps into farm land, which the local mostly Slavic population didn't want to touch.
Huge parts of Eastern Europe are only nice places today, thank to the hard labor of these German settlers in the medieval period.
They were dirty poor peasants seeking more freedom and the rulers in the Eastern Europe gave them more rights in exchange for living in the swamp. Thanks to these special rights, many of these once poor farmers actually managed to become the Lords of the farm land their ancestors had created.
Centuries later it was these German Lords and the special rights of the German population that made Slavic Nationalists salty and jealous, hence why they used the World Wars to steal these lands from us.

Because they have been reared and educated to be retarded monkeys.
People in Western Democracies are told that they are free, because they have the Right to peacefully protest and demonstrate in public for political change.
What they are not told, is that every single one of these countries has laws that define a peaceful protest as something the local government has to approve of before hand and that the police has been given the right to use violence to dissolve any non-peaceful protest that is obstructing daily live.
Additionally they actively try to keep the public ignorant, by using the media to call everyone a violent criminal who doesn't go through the government approved process for protesting and demonstrating.
This way the Western Democracies make sure that any public unrest they have to deal with will always be an unprepared, unorganized and unarmed naive bunch of fools, that will never be a threat to their daily operations.

a1dfc0 No.633172

Im not familiar with french firearms law but generally frontloading in the UK means that atleast the projectile and propellant must be frontloaded into an actual pressure bearing part of the firearm. if low capacity is fine, then a cap and ball revolver rifle would be fine. if you wanted to be very fancy and krautish you could try making it needle-fire thus reducing reloads to the insertion of paper cartridges without capping a percussion nipple. if you absolutely had to have modern AR or BR type capacity then i suppose you would need to make it some sort of chain gun with multiple chambers being fed into the back of the barrel. Other more complex solutions would be testing the extent of the law in regards to "front loading" and creating a long mechanical arm action which loads the gun down the shortest length of barrel possible with, a self closing cylinder cap to extend the barrel length somewhat after that. le frog only said BP guns though, so the simplest solution may just be to equip everyone with a sharps, chassepot, or dreyse type rifle since higher rates of fire with BP is kind of derp.
a1dfc0 No.633176
>>633172
Something i forgot to mention in regards to applying modern technology to old school firearms would be caseless ammunitions. the glued together powders of caseless were rejected because they lead to too much fouling, but they may be viable in BP because you need to clean that shit more anyway, especially if the glue has water for a solvent aswell. that would remove the need even for paper to contain each charge, and may make manufacture simpler if the mixing process isn't stupid, it would also mean the primer can just be glued on the back of the charge, reducing the need for one million broken needle-firing pins or injured fingers due to people fucking up P-cap placement.

THE PROTESTS CAME BACK IN BELGIUM
>Thousands of people marched through Brussels on Sunday in opposition to a United Nations pact aimed at boosting cooperation over migration.
>Police said some 5,500 people took part in the protest, organized by Flemish right-wing parties in the part of the Belgian capital where the main European Union institutions are located.
>Tear gas and water cannon were deployed when scuffles broke out between protesters and police after projectiles and firecrackers were thrown at officers.
>At one point, some 300 to 400 people tried to force their way into the European Commission building, Brussels Mayor Philippe Close told the Belga news agency. Sixty-nine people were detained over damage to property.
>The marches included many supporters of the right-wing populist Vlaams Belang party, with some carrying banners bearing slogans such as "Our people first" and "We have had enough, close the borders."
>A counterdemonstration arranged by left-wing groups and non-governmental organizations took place in the city center, drawing a crowd of about a thousand people.
>Both rallies were initially barred over fears of public disorder but one of the country's highest courts overturned the decision.

I haven't seen any but there's rumors that the French Generals have sent marcon a letter saying shape up or we'll remove you. The sauce is inforwars so take of it what you will.
"Mister President,
You are about to sign the “Global Compact on Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration” on 10 and 11 December, which establishes a genuine right to migration. It may impose itself on our national legislation through pre-existing treaties or the principle of common responsibility set out in this pact.
It seems to us that the only sovereignty that will remain with France will consist in freely setting the way in which the objectives of the pact will have to be implemented. You can not give up this new part of the national sovereignty without a public debate whereas 80% of the French population considers that it is necessary to stop or regulate drastically the immigration. By deciding alone to sign this pact, you would add an additional reason for revolt to the anger of an already battered people. You would be guilty of a denial of democracy or treason against the nation.
In addition, the finances of our country are drained and our debt is growing. You can not take the risk of an expensive call for air migration without first showing that you will not have to resort to more taxes to meet the objectives of the pact. On the other hand, you must be able, in terms of security, to curb the consequences linked to the arrival of extra-European populations. Finally, you can not ignore that the very essence of politics is to ensure security on the outside and harmony within. However, this concord can be obtained only if it maintains a certain internal coherence of the society alone capable of allowing to want to do together, which becomes more and more problematic today.
In fact, the French state is late in coming to realize the impossibility of integrating too many people, in addition to totally different cultures, who have regrouped in the last forty years in areas that no longer submit to the laws of the Republic.
You can not decide alone to erase our civilizational landmarks and deprive us of our carnal homeland.
We therefore ask you to defer the signing of this pact and call by referendum the French to vote on this document. You are accountable to the French of your actions. Your election is not a blank.
We support the initiative of General MARTINEZ against the signature of this pact which must be adopted by the Member States of the UN at the Intergovernmental Conference of Marrakech.
