House al Saud and the USA are completely codependent, the Saudis forces the OPEP to sell oil and gas in dollars through their majority of production share and their religious influence in the muslim countries. The US enjoys a total hegemony of currency usage, meaning US banks, the Fed first, can print and "invent" (borrowing multiplication) as much $US as they want because their currency is in de facto oil backed and oil is the thing making work (literally, as energy) the world economy.
