Pros:
>Not gonna die for Israel since your ass is somewhat valuable
>Get to travel, and not Chairforce "sit on base in a foreign country" travel but actually travel
>Get the best pick of overseas locations that aren't Europe
>Get practical experience in most fields because they need you to be able to repair or work on SOMETHING involving a skilled trade if you aren't the cook or undesignated on-board
>Don't have to worry about blowing your money on bullshit while serving sea duty because you're stuck on a boat for 2-8 months at a time
>Overall get treated with more respect in the trade fields than some chairforce pleb even though you didn't actually serve in a dangerous role for the military
>Get to shit on Marines daily once you get to about E4 since marines can't rank up past E4 without basically perfect scores
>The nigger in charge of teaching you a trade is actually a pretty cool guy
>A-school
>Get all the practical research funding so never have to worry about budget cuts
>If SHTF you're probably in the safest branch of the military
Cons:
<Less sign-on bonuses than Chairforce (or none) since Navy needs more officers, not enlistees
<Incompetent females
<A-School is being phased out because it takes too long and enlistees bitch about adding an extra 6 months to their contract
<A-School is paid time in the military, but it doesn't count towards your contract
<You might not die for Israel, but you might die when the Captain fucks up and crashes you into a Chink vessel (or a lighthouse)
<You don't actually get to pick where you go. They send the niggers to Japan to rape, and the White guys and Asians get sent to the shittiest regions they can, but it's all "random"
<Minimum 6 year contract when you account for Boot Camp and A-School, three years mandatory out at sea
<Homoerotic seaman jokes
<Get shit on by Marines constantly even though you're higher rank than them
<Free time doesn't exist during sea duty
<If you're not working 16-18 hour days while on sea duty, you're sucking the officer's dick (or extremely elongated clit)
<Female Officers will legitimately try to have you killed while out at sea if you bring up rules & regs (or if you fuck her sister)
<Weird words for everything that you'll get yelled at if you use the proper terms instead
<If a Navy electrician, be prepared for jokes about horsecocks/you WILL have to touch your superior's penis at some point willingly or unwillingly
Personally if you just want to keep your head low and get the military benefits/college funding, go Chairforce or Air National Guard where you'll sit on base all day. Boot Camp is harder but everything else is easier and unless we start a war in Europe you'll be fine. If you want to do a trade and experience something more akin to a life-changing experience that will "build character" but might make you jaded/bitter, the Navy is the safer, more interesting (because travel), and overall better option if not the option that will work you harder. If you want to die for Israel, join the Army/Marines while everyone laughs at you and your pride born from being a window licking retard. The best option though is to NOT JOIN THE MILITARY unless you're in a situation where you don't have much of a choice/not joining the military would fuck you over long-term.
