Fairly successful in testing but never saw use. Attack dogs have been in military use for millennia and still are. The Poles had a bear that they used to haul ammo in WWII.

Not a weapon, but there was a WWII veteran who lived in my town I spoke to before he died. He was stationed in India for a time at a POW camp there. He said his unit has as its mascot a Bengal tiger that was gifted to them by the local royalty. I have found no evidence other than his testimony, and I have no reason to believe he had lied. Unfortunately I never got to talk to him much as he died when I was young.
