This is my very first time posting in this board,im sorry if cant post this here but i do not know any other place for such questions.

I recently bought a bundeswher set of trousers from the 1950's (originals) but i am concerned about the danger of having been exposed to chemichal or nerve agents since well,they are already second hand,how do i make sure they are clean and wear them,the same question goes for a pair of flecktarn pants that i bought a year ago.but these ones are modern pants,how do i make sure that second hand military clothes are clean of such chemicals or agents,what do i do? thanks in advance

Most chemical agents aren't stable in the atmosphere for that long. V and G series nerve agents don't have a long shelf life, especially if not synthed with very low impurities. Older agents are more volatile and should be completely gone, but in the worst case, washing with alcohol, or gasoline if you are feeling extra retarded, in a well ventilated environment should do the trick.

Regardless, if we haven't heard any stories of the people handling milsurp getting poisoned you shouldn't worry.
