Weird question, why don't people shoot themselves in the back of the head at the brain stem to ensure death? I've seen too many failed suicide attempts by guns from methods otherwise.

Don't you know anon? Plenty of people die of self inflicted gunshot wounds to the back of the head, sometimes with several of them! They seem to do this after digging into government corruption, probably not related though.
