No idea about the EU but here they actually get semi looked after by the government so there is no need to make a special effort. Something we do that others should is offer government jobs to vets that use related skills,

You could go to Africa and kill communists negroes, worked well for Ganowicz, and a bit less well for Waluś himself, but amazingly for South Africa. government won't extradite him because they're communists themselves.

The only question is, whether the moral good is additive or cumulative

Alternatively you can go to work for something like Solid Security or whatever.
