Post your favorites, personal equipment or oddities.

Personally, I'm looking to put a checklist together because I'm new to this. I'm looking for light/versatile equipment that will last.

Below are a few things I've been looking at. Feel free to BTFO any of my selections and recommend a better option.

Use it for EDC to hold my utilities.

So good.

But I use the strap to hold onto the belt and not the snap buttons (which are weak).

Condor is shit.

Really, really shit.

I once had a plate carrier by condor- the fucking thing literally got an eight inch tear along the velcro seam on the front plate just because it had the plate inside for three months.

While more money does not make gear better, it's healthy to approach much of this stuff with the mindset of "would I actually trust it with preserving my life"?

Also, for fuck's sake, if you want a mag bra or a non-armored component, just get military surplus. Stuff still exists in pretty good condition for cheap.

I don't do a lot of gear queer type stuff so I'm afraid I can't help you much here. My current plate carrier is a ronin tactics setup, but I intend on wearing a SADF battlejacket over it instead of putting a fuckton of pouches on the front and back.
