It is cool but it isn't practical, look at the amount of contact patch increase then realize the same thing can be done cheaper and more reliably by reducing tire pressure.

It was meant to be a light utility vehicle, not some kind of tank. Using it as an MRAP is wrong and retarded. Not even the ammis do that anymore.

At least I hope. The ammis I have talked to while I was still in the army said that they managed to replace most of them for actual patrols and combat duty.
