I like to wear a patrol cap to keep the sun out, a t-shirt and cargo shorts, since it's usually too hot for cargo pants. I also wear my boots, because they need to know I mean business. You might think it's ridiculous to wear leather boots in hot weather, but if you can't wear them while walking around campus, how do you expect to operate in them? The glasses are optional, but they let the civies know I'm not to be messed around with when I'm on patrol I work part-time as a security guard at the largest mall in Australia. Are leather jackets the ultimate /k/ombat gear?
They are slightly water-proof(at least your chest will be dry), somewhat resistant to cutting and bludgeoning,it allows carrying a gun and layering(i can put on a sparco rib protector and it doesnt bulge too much) and are pretty warm
Elbow patches are pretty nice for aiming while prone tooand caving in the heads of pardos
