I had an interesting encounter last December

>have WASR10 and CZ75 with me
>day is relatively clear, slight overcast, not too cold
>adventure going well, tracking a coyote for about an hour when a thick fog rolls in from seemingly nowhere
>everything goes quiet, can't hear birds or the highway anymore
>a ton of crows fly overhead, none of them make a sound
>feeling considerably spooked, start walking in a single direction to get out of fog
>coyote tracks disappear, like the coyote simply stopped exisiting mid-walk
>nope the heck outta there, get home, fog evaporates within minutes
One of the spookiest things to have happened.
