I like how, at the end of the day, this entire advertisement is about a dozy cunt who left civilian life because nobody liked her at work. I'm signing up for the reserves/national guard before I go to Uni this April; I'll be something of a MOS/Military interpreter, but I'll get stationed with a unit of my choice (Infantry, logistics, information/comms, etc). I'll be a POG but it's better than doing nothing during University; plus I'll get basic marksmanship training so that's cool.

The positions that are open to men still are likely mission critical assignments that they absolutely can't let PC get in the way of, so they're still relying on the men to get shit done. I'd hope that'd be a clear sign to every male looking to join the Aussie military to fuck off so as to prevent this kind of bullshit, but I doubt it would. They'll probably encourage changing to those positions within the military to fix the number issues when this falls through.
