A large number of Prussian citizens emigrated to the American colonies as a way to escape the drafts initiated primarily by Frederick the Second in the mid 1700's, I'm not saying that there was no Germanic emigration prior to or after that point, but that's where it really kicked up a gear.

I have three, a Webley MKVI, Webley MKIV, and Enfield No. 2. The VI's my favorite just because it was in world wars one and two both. If guns could talk, I doubt it'd be telling me any feel-good bedtime stories. You have to (literally have to) reload for it but 45 auto rim cases with 4.8 grains of HP38 and a 160 grain LRN bullet works wonders in it.
The MKIV is by far the most user friendly of the bunch. Put in 38 S&W or (obviously also reloaded) 38/200 and you're good to go. Will eat up any commercial ammo no problem, never has any problems with ejection, hasn't had to have many parts messed with, always been nothing but reliable and easy to use, something its 1917-era grandpa can't really say.
The Enfield No. 2 is a piece of shit, though. I mean it shoots fine and probably has the best ergonomics of all of them, but the (feels like) 40 pound double action only trigger is absolutely miserable to fire after about the 20th time you've pulled it. It's not even a bad target gun… minus the insanely, insanely heavy trigger. Would love one of the versions that isn't DAO, but alas those are usually way expensive.

Ammo exists. Don't know about in your cuckold shithole but in the states 38 S&W isn't that hard to find and reloading 38/200 is very possible (38 S&W casings, 2.4 gr of AA#5 powder, and matt's bullets 200 gr lead bullets).

If you have a shaved Webley, as I and probably 95 percent of people that own a MKVI do, that won't work in it. Not enough clearance for the firing pin to hit the primer.
Also actual .455 ammo goes on sale about once every two/three years whenever Fiocchi feels like making a run of it. Sells out in months. Midway has some right now too, I fully expect them to be out of it in the next week or two. Never lasts. Brass for .455 and not.45 AR is just about impossible to find (for some reason), but again, if you've got a shaved one that won't really matter.
Protip: You can cut down .45 LC brass to make a reasonable approximation to .455 brass for reloading purposes if you're blessed with the money to afford an unmolested Webley
