primaryarms.com: you won't find everything here, but it's a great place to locate parts.
Faxon firearms makes great barrels, I recommend going with a 20" barrel 1/8 twist.
FN makes really fucking great barrels. I have one of their CHF, chrome lined barrels on my AR. I shot it today at the range, got the barrel literally smoking hot, and accuracy wasn't reduce in the slightest. That steel is very heat resistant.
You also absolutely want a drop-in trigger. Go with Patriot Ordinance Factory's 3.5lb single-stage trigger, the one with the straight trigger, not curved. You must buy this.
Get the Spike's heavy H2 buffer and a good aftermarket buffer spring. Get a good muzzle brake, the Lantec Dragon break is awesome.
Get a good Nickel Boron bolt carrier group, or even better, a chrome bolt carrier group.
absolutely put a rail on your gun. Faxon makes rails. How long you want it to be on your 20" barrel is up to you.
I like having a vertical grip on my rail.
For furniture, just go with magpul. They're cheap but also of very good quality.
You might as well get a black rain upper receive too.
Those are all the essential components.
